Campsite 4 is the first one you'll see, further down the road campground 1 is on the left, campsite 2 is on the right, campsite 3 is strait ahead. Please respect the privacy of the other campers. In the rainy season the road in can be slick. Four Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended in the case of large amounts of rain, or snow. Not recommended for RV's or trailers over 15 feet. At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Weekend Trip to Solstice Campground

Spot number one was perfect for my needs! I wish I had been able to stick around and enjoy the area but unfortunately, I just needed a place to pitch my tent to sleep for a night. I came in after dark and left before the sun came up, although my partner stayed a bit later. The campsite was easy to find easy to load in and out of large and quiet. I was grateful for this sites proximity to the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

Van camping in the Nook at Elwha was quiet and peaceful! The hosts were super accommodating of my last minute vehicle change and helped me find a place that would fit a large campervan. The bathroom was warm, which was perfect for showering after a week on the road, but also a bit far from my campsite (an oversight on my part). I’m not sure if this is normal, but both porta-jons near me were locked- didn’t have a chance to ask the hosts about it since I was mostly away during operating hours. Having WiFi was a nice surprise, which helped me stay in the loop about events planned at the fungi festival. Overall, Very nice amenities and hosts!

The Ranger, ha ha inside joke. The GM was extremely helpful on finding the discovery Trail! He knew my first name, but I do not know his. This RV park has only been open for 2 1/2 months. What a wonderful facility. Very clean and well kept. Deer visited our campsite this morning! What a joy. Private individual shower/bathrooms. The whole facility is immaculate. It definitely checked all the boxes quite safe clean and friendly. Thank you so much! You made our visit to the Pacific Northwest a complete joy.

What a beautiful campsite! I stayed here with my girlfriend and our pup for a single, rainy night. There was plenty of flat space for our 22-foot van and a large space that was "our own," which included a fire pit and table. The forested area in the back had a path that led to a creek, which, combined with the rain, created an amazing ambience. On the way out in the morning, we picked up some apple cider from the small "shop" at the entrance. It was delicious! Although I think it will be many years before I'm back in the area, I'll certainly be looking to stay here again when I am.

We parked and stayed in our van overnight and it was so great. The fire pit, chairs, and dry firewood available on property was so nice. The site has portapotties and they were the cleanest ones i've ever used, no smell and perfectly clean and stocked. Very quiet and comfortable site, would happily stay again for longer.

We had such an excellent experience! Seth is a wonderful host - super accommodating, helpful, and just has a lovely vibe. The farm is interesting and spacious and a close walk to Finn River. If you’re looking for a unique and reasonably priced place to stay, this is well worth consideration.

We had a great weekend camping at Cedar + Fern. Site 4 was very private, but had the disadvantage of being a little too far away from the creek to hear the water (but it was very quiet, which was nice). Farm fresh eggs, cider, and propane fire pit were wonderful additions to our stay. We had the chance to hike Mt. Walker nearby, which was a beautiful, albeit steep. I hope we get the chance to return next summer!

We had an amazing time at Cedar + Fern. Such a beautiful and magical environment. The river play area is so special and all of the trees and ferns are so gorgeous. It was a little tricky getting in with our 29’ trailer, but my guy is a great driver and managed it. The eggs and cider add-ons are also highly recommended. Opie gives it two paws up!!
