We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Nestled in the heart of Randle, Washington, Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. offers a serene camping area on a farm surrounded by the stunning Cascade Mountain Range and is central to Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, and the Mount Adams wilderness. Our farm serves as a haven for nature lovers, providing convenient base camp access to an abundance of outdoor activities including exploring lakes, caves, waterfalls, trails, and the picturesque Cowlitz River. Established in 2014 with camping areas first introduced in late 2022, our farm has transformed neglected land into a thriving lavender paradise with more. Campers can choose from a site directly near the lavender field or several more private sites in the peaceful forested area which also have trail access to the fields. A property loop walking trail is accessible by all campers and is the perfect warm up walk or evening cool down. We now feature a wood-fired outdoor shower for the ultimate camping experience and are excited to offer increasing rustic homestead style amenities for off-season or colder climate campers while actively increasing the care and management our forested land. "Osborne's Den" (tiny A-Frame Cabin) and "The Moose Site" (a full hook up RV/Camp site) both nestled on this quaint 1/2 acre lot (they rent separately... not together). Just minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.
There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.
Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.
The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail.
There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery.
Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Weekend Trip to Retired DNR Fire Watch Cabin
The cabin is off to the side of the front of the property along a quiet country road, wedged between cow pastures and hilly ridges with trees and elk. The setup exceeded our expectations - warm, comfy, plenty of space, a gas stove for heat and a camp stove for cooking. Getting to hiking is close but not necessarily walkable - Trout Lake town with the ranger station for the National Park is a 10 min drive. Fridge and bathroom with shower a short walk from the cabin are a bonus. It’d be fun to visit again in spring or autumn.

This cabin is peaceful. It had everything we needed for comfort. It is maintained with thoughtfulness. The cabin is clean and stocked with supplies making it easy to care for while there. The weather was very cold (26 to 38 degrees) as expected and we stayed toasty,
The roads are well maintained and the mountain spectacular.
We will come back when we can spend more time outside enjoying the grounds and exploring.
This was a fabulous place to retreat and spend time with friends.
Our dog was so happy, she is part husky and was in her element outside. She loved it. We all did.

Great spot! Lots of room. Full hookups! Our 32 ft trailer got in and out just fine but I wouldnt try to pull in in the dark! Get there early!! Great cell service with Tmobile. Blazing mobile data speeds.
We stayed here to ski at White pass which is about 20 mins away. Just far enough to get out of the freezing weather with the trailer.

The cabin was incredibly cozy. Even though it was below freezing outside for most of our trip the heater and blankets kept us super warm inside. Waking up to the cows and the mountains always felt amazing, and at night if the sky was clear so many stars were visible.

If being off grid isnt your cup of tea then this cabin probably isnt for you but we love it. One of our favoright things about staying here is that there is very little to no cell service and wifi only if you want to hook up to it. We love being off grid and having quality family time to interact with eachother with out the distractions of cell phones or tv. No power no problem for us! This is our favoright family get away spot by far.

It's a very quiet getaway, but close enough to the city. The professional and friendly staff make it feel at home. The community house is stocked full of pots and pans and other baking utensils to virtually make anything you may be craving to make. I would definitely stay here again if needing a weekend getaway to destress myself.

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

We absolutely love this spot! Very private and great views. It poured rain and was very windy this weekend, but we hunkered down, watched movies and read- it was just what we needed! The only downside was getting into the spot. The directions are not clear that you need to back down into the spot- so when you get to the “driveway” you need to back down and it is a little steep. Unfortunately, even though I had read other reviews, we didn’t realize this point & ended up needing to back up onto the main road in 4wd (and luckily we have an F-350- our previous truck would not have been able to handle this even with 4wd). Make sure you assess before you head to the spot.
