Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula.
We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them. Paying for extra days or rentals, wood, propane fire-pits, are done at pay station at Campground or by calling the office.
We have 21 tent sites on the West side of Pavel Road close to the river. 13 are river view sites. We have 15 tent sites and most are bigger tent sites, ones that are big enough for a RV on the East side of Pavel Road, Use our website dawleysrivercamping.com for details.
We have beautiful woods with trees, ferns, moss, and the Sol Duc River runs adjacent to our property. Beautiful views of the Sol Duc River from some of the sites and a short walk to the right of the parking lot to the Fish Hatchery, stay to the right there will be a boat launch and beach to fish and play.
Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca.
Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US!
We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.
There are more sites on the other part of the Campground.
The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing.
The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play.

Welcome to Aliya Preserve. Originally owned by the developers of Kalaloch Lodge, this was slated to be an expansion site for the resort. That development would have drastically changed the land.
Adam & Sara purchased the property in 2018 to preserve it. We enjoy sharing it with nature aficionados who respect the sacredness of the unblemished land and help us keep it pristine.
From your mossy bank perched above the panoramic Pacific, beneath burley spruce tree boughs, magic sunsets unfold at your own super-private and secluded campsite with fire-pit.
Adjacent to Olympic National Park, this is the same beach and bluff that defines Kalaloch, LaPush and and other wild Washington coastal icons.
As the stewards of this land, we are now inviting respectful and responsible small groups and families to share its beauty. Without prior approval we allow only eight people per group— even when split between campsites.
Please make sure to check the site *title* for number of campers allowed in each site. For example only two people are allowed in sites 1 and 4.

We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place.
All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets.
Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away.
We are located in the middle of an outdoor paradise and want others to enjoy all it has to offer.

We also have 'Native to Twilight' for all our Twilight fans, the Sasquatch and many more little shops, and restaurants. Forks is a very unique town with a population just under four thousand. This is a very nice little RV campground. It is very clean and well maintained with gravel so that there is no mud during rainy times. Sites 1-4 have good views of the bay. Site 5 is up on a hill and does not have a bay view, but you can set camp chairs nearby that would have a view. We were in site 4 and angled our trailer slightly so that the rear window (where out dining table is) could have a good view. If you have a dog, it might find the gravel to be a little sharp on the paws. It would be beyond perfect if the host could guarantee the tide was always in and the weather was sunny, dry, and no wind. (lol)

I had a great experience in the campground. I stayed in the tent area, which was tucked away from the RV area. Unfortunately, the sites were pretty damn close to each other, but I was lucky enough to have the area all for myself. The campground had a clubhouse with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms with a shower. As a woman travelling solo, I felt safe the whole time I was there. Lots of families everywhere with kids playing and laughing. It was a great experience. I would most definitely come back!
Oh, and they guided me to my campsite in a golf cart. I thought that was a pretty cool touch. Very friendly and proactive staff!

We have been trailer camping at Shelby's quite a few times, and always have the best time. Getting there is a breeze and it is usually pretty quiet. It is VERY close to the beach and all the sites have a view of the bay. Very close to Westport and Grayland for exploring. Did I mention Full hookups?! Love it and we will be back.

We stayed 5/24-5/27. Just off one of the main roads so it does get a little loud during the day with traffic. Private and peaceful despite this. Loved the shower, WiFi, and charging station. I love to camp but have a medical condition that causes me to rely on technology so this campsite was perfect. The host was super sweet. Will definitely recommend :)

Overall would recommend this campsite it was very peaceful and private. Shower was clean and campsites give a good amount of options on where you want to stay. Dale made the stay comfortable and greeted us soon after our arrival. He was really knowledgeable and recommended some great spots!

Site #1 - Hot Springs Meadow, is huge, close to the sauna and outhouses. The hot spring closest to the site wasn’t hot yet but if you follow the river going to the right of the site about 30 minutes up towards the dam, there are several hot springs pools that are worth rock crawling for! The backwoods brewery and general store is 6/7 minutes away. Next time we will come with a bigger group, stay 3 nights instead of two and hike beacon rock and see multnomah falls.
Chris takes amazing care of the place and his story of building up the hot spring is rad! Such a labor of love!

An unforgettable experience for our family! As others have mentioned, the photos really don’t capture the enchantment of the space. We stayed at Cedar Creek, which felt private and tucked away while still being close to the car. After a few trips back and forth across the plank bridge, we were settled into the space.
Our boys (7 and 9) loved the swings and exploring the creek. It was nice that the water was shallow enough to feel safe while still being perfect for splashing and adventure. We do wish we had booked the sauna — even with the warm temperatures, it would have been a great way to start the mornings.
We’re already planning to return very soon!
