Bus #7 was super fun! I got a little excited and feel like life on the road is calling. The bus was super warm and cozy even with snow on the ground outside. The surrounding property is wooded and private. All around a fun stop and we will be back!

On a road trip and passing through. Stopped for one night and the bus was perfect. Bathroom, Small Shower, Heater that worked very well, and fire pit. Great way to unwind.

Myself, boyfriend and two pups had the pleasure of staying at the Wind Song yurt this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have asked for anything better! The place was stunning, stocked for all needs and a great getaway. Jodee was great at communicating with any questions with incredible timing. I highly recommend checking the place out for a mental check out for the views are spectacular. Thanks for a memorable trip!

We stayed during a snow fall, so we did not get the full river experience- but even in November the view is beautiful. The little cabin was just enough for my young family of 4 and our dog.
Host made it super simple and had everything we would need and made sure to check on us via messages to make sure the heater was sufficient (which it definitely was).

1 night at WindSong in the treetops/hot tub
It was a great location. The views were amazing and we loved relaxing, reconnecting and enjoying ourselves with the simple life of Yert camping. We highly recommend the Windsong Yert! We will be back!

We loved our time here! Amy greeted us on arrival, provided a little ‘care’ package and was able to provide some great recommendations for hikes and meals. Super nice host!
The site has a fire ring and is right next to the river. There’s only about 4 more sites plus a little cabin located right behind the tent sites.
It was a little tricky driving up the hill to get to the road, so we typically left via the entrance which had less of an incline.

Amy's Land is a great place to camp. Views are beautiful. The bathroom is very clean, the only thing is that if you have to use it at night, you'll need to bring some kind of light with you, as there's no light, but that wasn't a problem for us. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. Amy is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Amazing guest and amazing communication. The place even had an amazing propane heater and hot water to take shower. Excellent location.
The place is a little hard to find but if you’re coming off interstate 81 just find Bojangles and go past Bojangles(comes to your left) into the small town and take the first left at the first red light. You will see the gravel road to your right right there.

We loved our stay! The campsite was great, clean, and beautiful. The morning fog that rolls over the river creates a peaceful scene. Would recommend this site if you are looking to be by the river and easy access to your car. We visited the local Ashe County Farmers market since it was a short drive away.

The most perfect place for little on the river!!! We brought our small camper down here and loved everything about it. The perfect place to boondock and enjoy nature. Amy was wonderful and communicated quickly. So nice to have a AFFORDABLE place. Especially with several small kids, budget creates a quality experience. We will be back!

As always, the best spot and the most fun! Camping on the river but also 15 mins from a lot of good food and entertainment. We love to go into West Jefferson but also a day spent in the water just relaxing is just what’s needed! Amy is the best host and it’s great to have port o potties on site plus running water to wash your hands and also wood if you need more for your fire. This was my 4th year in a row but it won’t be my last time!

Very private and cozy. Perfect little weekend stay a short drive to Claytor Lake State Park. It's just what we needed! The dogs loved it too. Directions the owners provided took us straight there. Would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing camp! Kids played all day in the river. We caught fish and had an absolute blast. Host was amazing and very helpful throughout our entire stay. 10 out of 10!!
