There is no way to drive to it or even get close except on foot. But it is spectacular and beautiful! Only three sites can accommodate a smaller trailer or camper. Site 1, Site 2, and site 6. Please notify me in your booking if you intend to bring a camper and I can accommodate you. We practice leave-no-trace as much as possible. So please pack out anything you pack in. You are responsible for removing all trash. If any garbage is left behind in your site you will be billed for the cleanup. We have a dumpster located near the front gate. We keep a constant flow of bird seed located in feeders around the ranch, and we have seen all kinds of birds making this a great place for birders. The ranch has nice elevation changes with a wet weather creek that traverses the property. There are some trails to hike or mountain bike. The cabin is rustic without plumbing or electricity, but we enjoy it and it's fun to think it's everything we would need. This is off-grid living all the way, and we are constantly learning new and better ways to do things. The cabin is located on the very first spot we pitched a tent after purchasing the land, and we continue to make improvements as we go. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

We are right across the street from Medina River on private property with river access. This beautiful, shaded, quiet place away from the city has plenty of space between other camp sites unlike most commercial RV park sites. There is plenty of space, trees for shade, starry nights and wildlife to include deer. We ensure all sites are clean and the property is maintained, mowed and trimmed regularly. Our full hookup sites include electric, water, sewer, trash, free wifi and include access to the river, community park, boat launch ramp, fishing peir, etc. We also have tent sites available, but please call 830-423-6922 to reserve. Tent sites are $25 per night for two people and a minimum of a three night rental if booked by calling. Tent site includes electric, picnic table, fire ring for camp fires and access to the bathroom/shower. It is an additional $5 per person per night over the 2 person minimum. We offer Kayak rentals and firewood $5 bundles for when its time to relax by the fire for the night. We had a great time camping out on this property. Super easy to find and very responsive host. Depending on the wind (and the noise level of other campers on the ranch), you can hear a neighboring camp site, but other than this we had zero issues and would definitely return! Thanks very much.

I had an amazing time at 3 Dry Wells! I stayed for four nights with my dog, and it was so peaceful, beautiful, and private— I didn’t see another guest my entire stay. I was lucky to be there during a meteor shower, and what an amazing place to be for that because the skies were so clear that you could see the Milky Way. My pup and I enjoyed hiking the trails and visiting the spring-fed creek, which was such a treat on a warm day. William was such a kind a gracious host. We hope to be back again!

We had a great stay. Tent site 2 has lots of room and plenty of shade. It’s a short walk down the hill to the river. Having the sink and porta potty down near the site made life much easier. The facilities up top are nice. Having cornhole there to play was a lot of fun and one less thing to bring. We’ll definitely be back.

The camp sites were spaced out enough and private. Although it was a short walk to the bathroom and showers the 2 stalls were super clean with a tidy sink area with running water. The Medina river was crystal clear and the land kept very clean.
