Boulderdash is a fantastic getaway. The hosts are just wonderful and so helpful. They have a little store where they stock ice and other stuff for sale. Weekend Trip to Terraqueous RV Resort

The “M section” is the perfect spot if you have a small travel trailer and are okay with water and 20 amp hookup only (I think there was a 50 amp as well). There are no sewer hookups at this particular site, however there is a really convenient dump station before you exit the park and not to mention a really nice bath room and shower with a/c within walking distance. This is our second trip out there and we absolutely love this place.

Words cannot express how incredible this place is. Shaded campsite with large coverage, places to sit, shade, furnished grills, great fire pits for both hanging and cooking, hammocks, swings, swim pool for the kids with a rock slide, this place is amazing! Oh and did I forget to mention zebras & oryx!?! It can’t get better than this beautiful place. Definitely pay for all of the extras like Wilson’s tour & don’t miss the sunset on 2 bar hill. Enjoy it!! Our whole family did! See you every year for more memories!!

My family love our get away trip. The camp grounds were clean and the staff was very responsive if you needed anything. We went for Memorial Day weekend and while others were fighting for space to set up and hit the water. The camp grounds were spacious and other guests were quiet and respectful. If you’re looking to visit San Antonio or to just relax this is a great place to stay! We stayed here for a few days in the rv and it was great. We had our 4 dogs and the views from where you park the RV was beautiful! We came in the dark and it was difficult to find the area but during the day it’s easy to maneuver. A very safe area and we felt safe the entire time. There’s a private swimming area ( was beautiful and fun for the dogs) cows are just by the swimming area. Such a beautiful place to camp at. We went to Guadalupe river ( a MUST see) if you want a days of swimming with the dogs or kids! Would return!

Our stay at Tent Site #2 at Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park was absolutely wonderful! Carol-anne and Lyn were amazing hosts—friendly, responsive, and super thoughtful. They provided helpful tips before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. The site was peaceful and well-kept, surrounded by nature and just steps from the Medina River. Even though it was a short hike to the bathrooms, we were well-prepared thanks to their clear heads-up and suggestion to bring a tent potty—especially useful since we were camping with our child. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the check-in process to on-site items like firewood and ice. The no-visitor and quiet policies helped make the space feel safe and relaxing for families. We made some great memories here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the outdoors!

Tent camping was super fun! The little camp sight was super quaint with a fire pit, grill, picnic table and chairs. The sunset views were gorgeous, the sky view was even better. About 2 miles as a crow flies from Lost Maples State Park. You drive through a 13,000-acre ranch to get to us. We are at the end of a dead-end road with one way in and one way out. NO FISHING Free firewood for use during your stay and can make a good deal if you want to take some home! As our topo map shows we have a wide variety of terrain ranging from steep cliffs with huge views to shady canyons. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out. Please dont make your own....stay on trails. There are plenty of places to swim. When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch.
