This hill country resort offers a delightful blend of comfort and nature, making it a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, clean accommodations, and beautiful surroundings, with wildlife sightings and starry nights adding to the charm. The cabins and pods are well-equipped, providing a cozy stay, and the resort's amenities like the pool and hiking trails are well-maintained. However, be mindful of burrs in the grass if you have pets, and cleanliness inside the cabins can be inconsistent.

The resort exceed expectations from the accommodations, where we visited several of the cabins and pods, to the scenery, and the ultimate privacy for a week in the hill country. We are already planning our return visit.

Booked last minute, incredible spot! Shana the manager even let me in and took me to my cabin after she was off. Quiet, pup friendly, wild life was beautiful. The maintenance manager even filled up my tire w air. Shana the manager even helped me w some unforeseen van rental issues. Sunrise & sunsets here are spectacular and the only glow at night are the stars.

What a beautiful experience! The pots are so unique and I loved opening up the “ windows” to the lake view. All the essentials were provided for and my husband and I were very comfortable for our anniversary Stay. The only downside is that there are many burs outside in the grass. We brought our Chihuahua and he kept stepping on them and his paw started bleeding from one. We had to either carry him around or walk him on the paved road. It wasn’t a huge deal. We adapted. But if you’re wanting to walk the trails, just prepare for that.

Very friendly staff while checking in. Pool area was beautiful and well maintained. It's very new and there are not a lot of trees to provide shade in the summer but camping there during Spring Break was lovely.

D12 Loft Cabin - Unit D12
Our family of 4 loved our time in the tiny home at SKYE Hill Country Resort. The cabin was furnished with full size kitchen appliances which made it easy to cook. The shower was large and we had plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable, too. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back porch drinking coffee (also supplied in the tiny home) in the Adirondack chairs looking at the pond. This resort is 16 miles outside of Fredericksburg which made it wonderful to get away from the crowds. We enjoyed our time in the pool and playing pickle ball.

My family really enjoyed our trip at SKYE. The cabin was clean, modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We rented the golf cart and enjoyed the wildlife. Loved the pool side and starry night too. The property was so beautiful. The staff was amazing! Thank you Heather and Mattie for being so accommodating and sweet. We’ll be back!

This park is amazing. The sites, grounds and restrooms/showers were in excellent condition. We didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi but it was first class. The laundry room had 7 sets of washer and dryers that seemed brand new. We were there on the Thanksgiving weekend and they had live music both nights for the guests too! Definitely worth the stay!

Easy to book. Received detailed information for entry and review of the beautiful resort. The resort is gorgeous with access to a pool, tennis courts and hiking. We saw so many deer. The showers and bathrooms are new, clean and roomy. The staff was so friendly and helpful planning our adventure to Fredericksburg.

It was great! Very clean, incredibly nice hosts and team, and there is EV charging around every corner for those with EV trucks that need to charge. Saw some beautiful deer at one point and the views were beautiful. Will definitely come back for a longer stay

T11 Accessible Loft Cabin -Unit T11
the cabin was about 15-20 minutes from the main Fredericksburg area. It’s a nice getaway. The cabin was nice and the water was hot. There were some animals (like deer and rabbits) in the area. The cabin was facing a pond. Overall we had a nice stay. The only complaint I have is that the floors were extremely dirty and sticky and there were a lot of bugs in the cabin (but to be expected since you are in nature). I would stay here again if I wanted a getaway from the city.
