We loved this site! We had great view of the 4th of July fireworks! The camp ground was clean and very cute! Carol-anne and Lyn were both very nice and caring. Definitely recommend it!

This was our second trip to Dos Rios! I cannot recommend Campsite 2 enough. It’s right above the Llano River. I have no complaints and we’re ready to go back!

Weekend Trip to Seco Ridge Campgrounds

Seco Ridge Campground is isolated but close to town and the park for swimming fishing. The tent spots are big areas, you can find some amazing views and on Sat nights they have a band come out and play. Woody and his wife Jessica are super nice people who will engage in conversation with you. If you want a nice peaceful relaxing get away this is the spot. Already planning my return trip.

Boulderdash is a fantastic getaway. The hosts are just wonderful and so helpful. They have a little store where they stock ice and other stuff for sale. Open air cabin is screened in to avoid natural animals but a nice breeze blows off the river which will keep you cool at night. 125 feet to the beautiful Frio River from the campsite. Enjoy walks in the morning, camp cooking, star gazing at night, a Bar-B-Que pit is provided and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. A rope swing is just minutes up river. This is primitive camping on the Frio River at its best. -4 wheel drive is mandatory to cross river.

Eight acres of semi-kept hillcountry just outside Boerne, TX. Our land offers a good mix of native and non-native trees with plenty of open spaces for the night sky. Many level areas for dry tent camping with good views, especially sunsets. Optional tent spots offer semi seclusion. This is "dry" camping, there aren't bathrooms on site. We do have an outdoor shower that is well water temperature. One RV spot is available with water/electrical hook up. No black water dump available. Boerne is about a mile and a half away. The closest gas station is less than a mile. Boerne has a 24 hour Planet Fitness with hot water showers. Many restaurant options nearby. Three miles from Boerne Lake. Historic Luckenbach and Fredericksburg Wineries are about a half hour away. Our land is inhabited by two sweet and lively dogs. They will say hi and periodically check in but will otherwise leave you alone. We also have active bee hives on the property, but the bees are usually too busy to bother anyone.
