We stayed in Cabin 13 and absolutely loved it! It had more amenities than we expected- a bathroom with towels, a kitchen with dishes, DVDs to choose from, etc. It was quiet and felt very safe and well tended to. We plan on going back again soon! My kids and I had a great time- my dog too!

I loved this cabin. The view of the river from the patio was amazing and the jacuzzi, you could look up at all of the stars. The kitchen is nice. They have a very nice toaster oven, bbq grill, but no stove top (just a heads up)! The cabin was very clean. The location is perfect. It is very close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock! My dog even got to join in on the adventure.

This was mine and my husband’s second time visiting the Seco Ridge Campgrounds. This year we stayed in the Bunkhaus. Our best friend and my cousin also joined us for the adventure. The Bunkhaus is nothing short of incredible. It’s more of a tiny home with an awesome patio area with fun lighting, games, and luxury lounging. A HUGE storm came in while we were there and the Haus had no leaks, nothing like that- it is a true experience. The interior is gorgeous with drywall and recess lighting. The bed was incredibly comfy. Owners Woody and Elaine were so very accommodating and kind. They got us fresh firewood and even fresh eggs from the ground’s chickens! In the Haus, there’s a microwave and large mini fridge for snacks and the grounds have a communal fire pit, swings, outdoor kitchen, running water, hot showers and toilets- I have to wear orthodics temporarily which makes it difficult for me to walk and Woody and Elaine set up a chemical toilet right outside the door of the Haus for me. INCREDIBLY accommodating. The Seco Ridge campground itself is the only place I have ever seen the Milky Way with the naked eye. I do astronomy photography and I was able to take some incredible photos. My family and I sang karaoke outside up to quiet hours time at 11, and had an overall BLAST! The Haus is air conditioned, heated, and has just the quaintest and most fun ambiance. It is a pleasure every year and we can’t wait to come back again soon! What a great setup! We stayed at Bunkhaus, was super comfortable. Vicinity to Garner state park is perfect for hiking. Brought the whole family, 3 boys and dog and everyone had a good time. Highly recommend and we will be back!

You do not charge me a $55 cleaning fee when the sheets haven't been changed, but only deodorized with the strongest smelling deodorant I have ever encountered.
White towels Always! Ours were gray with brown streaks. I guess somebody used them after they did their business in our cabin. Luckily we brought our own and used those after we showered/ swam.
Had to listen to Tammy. Go on and on for 30 minutes about leaving a good review but you know what? No.
To her credit she did give us two tubes for free.
I'm not expecting Caesars Palace in this type of camping situation but it could have been a whole lot better.

The treehouse is absolutely beautiful, it has so much charm. The view from the top is just as stunning as you would imagine and all af the levels of the treehouse are well thought out and maintained. My only complaint is that we didn't have the time to stay another night.
They are not lying about the driveway. It is rough but just adds to the secluded nature of the retreat.
Can't wait to come back and would recommend anyone to come experience it.

This is a great place close to the riverbank. Nice walkway down as well as kayaks on site to use. Cabins are about 100 years old but have some updates that makes it nice to stay in. The host was great very helpful and quick to respondon, also has a guy that is next door if anything pops up. Beds were comfy and the patios are very nice to sit on. Would recommend to stay for a nice river trip.

We loved staying here. The Tree House was really cool. The top deck was perfect for stargazing. Directions to get there were very clear. It was secluded and peaceful and just what we were looking for.

Seco Ridge is a great place to stay for a nice hill country get away. The location is private, quiet, and well maintained. AND it’s pet friendly! Woody is a great host and a great singer as well! We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in the big cabin. It fit our family of 7 and we had plenty of things to do! This place was perfect for kids, even toddlers. We felt safe the entire time and the property manager was there if we needed anything. We’ll definitely come back, but with friends!!!

Dos Rios was there PERFECT spot for my family! We stayed 3 nights at the Tiny Cabin 12. It had everything we needed from kitchen appliances, to clean bedding and towels! This space accommodated me my partner, my 8 month old, 8 year old and our German shepherd. Super comfortable, nice AC, hot showers, and a fire pit to cook on outside. The main guy that was working there helped us as soon as we arrived! He was a huge help to us during our stay! The river area was so beautiful every morning and evening, very clean around the whole RV park. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you have kids or pets! Everyone around us was very respectful and polite ❤️❤️ We will be back again!

We stayed here over Spring Break and had the best time! My kids said they wanted to stay forever, they said it was dreamy to have had the “biggest backyard in the world” The house it it cute and cozy, exactly like you can see in the pictures.
Even though the river water was low, my kids were able to play there and we all made wonderful memories.

The Bunkhouse was fantastic! What a relaxing getaway. Conveniently located near Garner State Park. Facilities were clean and well-tended. My daughters (8 & 11) had a great time exploring the campground and reading in the hammocks. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for our daily meal prep. I got to sample a delicious Witbier brewed on-site by the owner - thanks Woody! We will be back!
