Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or water for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. This is collected rain water and it just sits there, there are small fishes in there but we suggest no swimming as it can have bacteria. We usually walk around it with rain boots. By the pond you will be able to see lots of beautiful birds while relaxing in the various chairs provided as well as a swing. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us to maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful. Cows also roam around the property but are separated by a fence but you do hear them once in a while and sometimes you can see them up close. These cows do not belong to us so please let them be. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets keep in mind that if you wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. Learn more about this land: The Rock Pit is a 5 acre swimming hole located in Trinity County that has been there over 50 years. Long ago they had dug out an area on a hill for rock on the dirt roads, and hit and underground water table. There are no fish in the Rock Pit, as the pH is 4.5, so no fish will live in it. I recall swimming there as a small boy, and wanted to share my memories with others. Depth ranges all over, but the deep end is around 15 feet. I have 5 kayaks currently, but bring yours if you have them, along with your vests. There is fishing in Lake Livingston, my place is north of it. There is access to Lake Livingston via White Rock Creek. A public boat ramp in on Highway 94, just outside Trinity. Or you can go back towards Trinity, to highway 357 and go to a ramp closer to the big lake. Tall pine tress, a few Oaks, and maple trees surround the place. Bring your mosquito repellant, as you are in the country! The place is raw right now, but I am planning improvements such as a few A frame cabins, a showering area and so on. So many things to do! We have a RV barn area that can be used for shade, sitting, eating, relaxing, etc. You can use the tables and chairs. There is also a white water container on the table that you can use for washing. There is a 32 gallon trash bucket that you can put trash in but make sure lid is closed when you're done to keep animals out. This site does have limited solar electric power in RV area. To turn on, flip the switch on the surge strip on the wall behind the microwave. There is no running water so please plan accordingly. There is currently not a toilet available but I'm planning on building a composting toilet soon. For now, use the natural way and make sure to bury. For security, there is one camera on the property located near the front entrance and it is mainly for monitoring the front entrance area. There is also another camera near the north side of RV barn for security of storage room and RV. This site can also be used for long term parking/storing your RV or vehicle but we are not liable for anything that happens. If interested, please contact me or use the app called "Neighbor". You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :) Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

The primitive camping area is located in the back of a working ranch. You can find two ponds where you can make a bonfire, kayak and walk amongst the wild trails near the ponds. This is a WALK IN site where you can park your vehicle about 3 mins away from your site. Vibrant Two Ponds is located near the road County Road 154 and the 90. 2 nights at Big City Little Farm

We had a great time here. Cherise was really hospitable and greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around. In the morning we had scheduled for the complimentary animal feeding and the experience was awesome. Cherise met us at the barn as scheduled at 9 AM sharp and provided us with a good amount of treats for all the farm animals. It was really nice to be able to give the donkeys, goats, Horse, horses, miniature cow, and chickens their morning breakfast. Cherise even allowed my two siblings a ride on one of the horses which we thought was really nice and a great experience for the kids. Oh, and she has a really beautiful turkey and peacocks on site as well. Overall, we had a fun time here and would definitely love to come back to check out the glamping tent.

We had a wonderful stay at Stewart’s Cove in Cabin 3! Gene was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cabin itself was clean and comfortable with great water pressure and a beautiful view. We loved being able to catch fish right from the pier and truly enjoyed every moment. We’re already planning to return — this time bringing our whole family!

Cute rustic homey cabin. Relaxing area off the beaten path. Lots of animals, horses and donkeys in pasture very nearby. Turkeys, chickens, etc penned nearby. Ducks on a nice lake very close. Donkeys provide protection day and night. Only issue was hot water for shower was only good for one at a time then took a little wait to reheat. Pretty area.

The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

We had a great 2 night stay at Circle C Campground essentially inside the Sam Houston National Forrest. The park trails began 50 yrds from our campsite. The sites themselves were very large, and there are only 7 total campsites, so it felt very spacious. There was a lot for the kids to do and they roamed freely with no worries from mom or dad about them all weekend. Terry was very friendly and has spared no expense improving the property to allow campers to enjoy it. Highly recommended.
