There are 3 campsites and one cabin located in the gap of the little Mahanoy Mountain and line Mountain range along the little Mahanoy creek. All four campsites have creek access and come with picnic table garbage can and fire ring and Firewood is usually available. There are two Porta potty‘s one located at each end of the sites. There are trails for hiking which extends along an abandoned railroad bed and also up into State game lands and into the deep woods. The hiking in the woods is on an incline. But the hiking on the railroad bed is pretty unintense. There is parking at each site. The sites are spread out along the creek bed ranging from more of a rustic primitive tent camping on site 4 to an open site on site 1.

Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013. If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run. The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape. The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them.
Since the livestock have been fenced out of the creek, a little jewel of a wildlife refuge traverses the farm from northwest to southeast. Fast forward to today.... families are grown and now we want to share this incredible spot with you! We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. Well its not much of a farm, Rather a secluded grass farm field with goldenrod at the foot of the Elizabethville mountian. It is only 1.8 miles off the Route 25 approximately 1/2 hour drive north of Harrisburg. It is down a dirt road through the woods. At the edge of the field is the woods of the mountian. It has a small stream flowing throgh the woods. Not alot of light pollution so you will be sure to enjoy the starry night sky. Close to alot of neat placed and things to do.

The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. Welcome to Forks Farm Campground! Forks Farm is an 86 acre farm located in Fishing Creek, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The grass and timber farm is nestled along Huntington Creek at the base of a south-facing slope with beautiful views of Knob Mountain and Huntington Mountains to the south.
There is a fire pit, picnic tables, a swimming hole, wooded campsites, fishing, Josiah Hess Covered Bridge, an outhouse, and an open area for recreational use. Please remember we are a working farm. All fences are electric. Please DO NOT TOUCH or go inside a fenced area without a farmer accompanying you. Pack it in, pack it out. You are responsible for removing your own trash and recyclables.
The farm store is open 24/7 for self-service. Please record your purchases in the notebook on the counter and leave payment (cash or check is preferred, but you can use Venmo) in the money box on the counter. If you need assistance with a purchase (Forks Farm grass-fed meats for the grill), let us know.
Forks Farm Market has been providing the community with locally produced foods every 2nd and 4th Saturday, May - December, for thirty years and has established itself as the area's first and only on-farm, producer-only farm market offering the local community chemical-free, pasture-raised meats, dairy, and farmstead cheese in addition to a wide variety of locally produced foods, fiber, and crafts from over twenty vendors.
The campground is easily accessed from the Bloomsburg exit of Interstate 80, ten miles north on SR 487, and 1.5 miles east of Forks on Winding Road. The nearest major town is Bloomsburg, 10 miles to the south, and both Philadelphia and New York City are within a 3-hour drive.

We had a wonderful family camping experience at Forks Farm Campground. The campsite was very spacious, clean, and peaceful. Our favorite part was being right next to the creek — we could fish during the day and fall asleep to the relaxing sound of running water at night. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, taking the time to meet us personally and give us a tour of the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

This is the perfect choice for anyone looking to fully experience the peace and quiet of nature. It was an amazing environment for a relaxing getaway with our dog, Luna.
The cabin was well-stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Even though it’s in the mountains, the shower was fantastic—plenty of hot water and great water pressure! The manager was incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. We made great memories here and would absolutely love to visit again.

Great stay! The cabin was exactly as described and offered the perfect escape from the crowds. The interior was cozy with everything you needed for a stay regardless of timeframe; Theresa was incredibly communicative and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the secluded atmosphere of the cabin and variety of unique animals on property. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for serenity and a unique experience. I can't wait to visit again!

This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Quietly tucked alongside the creek, the rushing water lulled us to sleep each night.
Mark and his family are kind and considerate, checking in on us and making sure that we had all that we needed for a great stay.

Bill and Erin are excellent hosts who really make you feel welcome. The location is facing the goats and cows, who are curious and friendly. You get a great view of their antics from the fireplace area outside. The other side of the RV faces empty fields and full of wildflowers and little groves of trees. It was so peaceful.
The RV was perfect for my three person family, but there was definitely enough sleeping space for more wirh rhe queen sized bed, bunk beds, and surprisingly comfortable couch. While located close to the hanger and the bathroom shared by all campers, the RV has its own bathroom with a little shower. There's a full kitchen, a grill under the storage compartment, and a full gas grill separate from the structure.
I would definitely stay again.
