Stephanie was nice & responsive. Self check-in instructions provided ease of access. The cabin offers a totally secluded & private paradise for nothing but nature. The cabin was well stocked with essentials like dish & hand soap, basic kitchenware, sheets/extra blankets, water, TP, towels, linens, and a fan. Additionally, fishing rods, a small flashlight, and firewood were provided. I brought too much stuff lol.
Nice perks were the steps to the outhouse were well lit. A sizable can of gas was provided for the generator when needed. I enjoyed the fire pit, hiking trails, pond fishing.
Another thing is the outdoor shower aside from the outhouse. The listing mentioned not having a shower but this was a great surprise for me. Likely during the warmer months.
A tip for future guests: The drive from the main road is long, muddy (after some rain), and can be questionable for some sedans. There are multiple dips, ruts, and hills that require off-road experience, so take it slow, or better yet, bring a high-clearance or 4WD vehicle.
Also, there is no AC and the cabin holds heat well, Summer might be too hot for some; however, the windows can be opened and the host provides a collapsible screen for bug-free airflow, which helped. I would like to try the cabin out during Fall or early Winter.
I was surprised to get cell service here and there, but don't count on it. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for true solitude in nature.

Another awesome 4th of July weekend at BLT cabin! Definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxing on the spacious porch while our dogs played in and around the pond. The morning hikes also helped the relaxation. If you want to get away and relax to the nature sounds, BLT cabin has got you covered!! Don't forget your s'more supplies 😄

This property is great! The trails go on and on. It's one of the nicest cabins I've ever stayed in. It has a totally isolated feel but there are grocery stores and gas stations only 10 minutes away.

The spot is complete tranquility. In a span of 3 days, I only had one passerby on an ATV, otherwise it is basically in the woods, and the nature is impressive all around you. There is no power and barely any cel coverage (almost none really) so be ready for that, but there was plenty of wood for the woodstove, and I was offered to stay an extra 12+ hours if I needed, which added to the "no stress" time I had. The hosts are quick to respond and let me be otherwise. I would stay again.

I stayed two nights with my son and our dog. We had a very nice time. We bought plenty of supplies, but if we forgot something, place was very well stocked even with extra fishing poles. I enjoyed fishing in the little pond. caught about 20 Blue Gills and a few frogs. We ran the generator during the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet at night. There is no WiFi so download some games or movies on your phone, bring a book or whatever you choose to pass the time. We bought meat in a cooler and grilled on the fire pit. There is a Walmart not too far if you need somethings. The only down side which is no fault of the host is the ride up to the lodge from the main road which is rocky, with some dips. My car is low to the ground so I had to ride on it very carefully.

My sons and I had a wonderful time and our host Stephanie was so kind and welcoming. The cabin will be forever a great memory for my children and myself. Thank you for sharing you place with us, we are so thankful. We hope to get another trip in before the winter.

Throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet at BLT cabin. Perfect get away holiday weekend! Our dogs enjoyed the off leash time and playing in the pond!! All we needed to bring was a cooler of food and water, well stocked for your camping needs. We will definitely be back!

Stephanie was a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was absolutely what we looking for. It had all the amenities we needed to sleep/cook/relax comfortably while being completely private and peaceful. Our pups loved being able to run around off leash all weekend long and taking a swim in the pond. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely try to come back in future ❤️

This place was absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. It was extremely secluded and very private. I had my dogs with me and they absolutely loved it as well. I plan on booking again with all of the stuff there is to do in the area. Perfect for the whole family!

BLT cabin is a fantastic place to get time away and enjoy nature. Stephanie was a wonderful host who was able to answer all of our questions. We enjoyed the catch and release fishing at the pond, the relaxation by the fire pit, and the overall beauty of nature that surrounds the cabin. The cabin was stocked with cooking equipment! We had a great weekend, and we would recommend this cabin to everyone!

Absolutely wonderful camp and host, the camp has almost everything if you forget to bring something you are good, Stephanie and her husband are super nice and very accommodating they even let is go in and use their private pool to cool off. If you are looking to get away from it all I suggest getting ahold of Stephanie and renting their BLT cabin you will not be disappointed!!!!

I loved the cabin and our kids had a great time! I love that it is secluded for privacy. We were looking to get away and get the kids out into nature and this was great for that! Loved the we were able to bring our dogs and enjoy this as a complete family. The host were amazing, friendly, and inviting! This is just what we needed!
