Booked two nights with my dog and ended up staying three! The site sits on a small hill with great views of the farm and surrounding area. Even though it’s between the other two sites, it felt private — I barely noticed the other campers. The platform fit my Gazelle T3 tent perfectly, with room for a chair and dog bed.
Loved walking the farm trails with my dog, and the location is super convenient — only six minutes to Bloomsburg’s Main Street (coffee at Martha’s, tacos at Forth Taco, and Endless for books/records). Nearby hikes include the shaded Hess Trail Loop and the Railroad Trail in town, but also walking along the path next to the water in town has amazing views. I even stopped at Mays which is a few mintues from the farm and ate out back while my dog walked around the huge lawn.
All three sites are nice, but the view here really stood out. The hosts were friendly and unobtrusive, and while you’ll hear some farm noise since it’s a working farm, the vibe is peaceful and relaxing. I got to sit and read by the fire for hours each day. Saw a bunch of hawks and it was really cool how there ar birdhouses all along the fencing of the property. Hope to be back again soon to explore the area more!

Great place. I camped at Aspen and it was nice and quiet. Not the most secluded, you have a clear view of the house, but there is a nice shaded area to pitch a tent and the owners didn’t come near the spot at all. Electric fences around the site also put my mind at ease where bears were concerned. Definitely keep food tucked away though. We had a lovely family of raccoons eat my mothers resses cup one night

I camped at the Aspen site. It was very nice next to the small Creek. Lots of space and privacy. It was away from the main farm and surrounded by beautiful fields. The farm reminded me of many that I worked at as a kid.

The Aspens is a very special place. It is a groove of trees within gorgeous fields on an idyllic farm. There is a babbling brook at the campsite and you can put your feet in and enjoy the sound throughout your stay. There are also beautiful cows and chickens with an attitude that provide farm ambience. We loved our time here and there was a delicious breeze each afternoon.

We got to fall asleep at this campsite to the sound of rushing water next to the creek. No issues with a washout or accessing the campsite. We were in a roof top tent, and had a little trouble getting leveled out, but there’s a good spot with mulch for a ground tent and a fire pit amongst the trees if you cross the footbridge across the creek, only about 10 feet from where you can park. It’s a little muddy, but it was raining all night, so that’s to be expected. Plan accordingly.
We were just looking for a place to sleep, so unfortunately we didn’t get to check out the amenities, but the host came out and said hi and was very nice.
Oh! And the fireflies were incredible!

Directions to the camp site were easy to follow and it was clearly labeled which I appreciated. The spot itself was really lovely on the farm and it was relaxing listening to the creek. Overall it was a nice space to stay. Bring bug and tick spray though!

Great rough camping situation to where you have no one at your back door. Each site is well spaced. Even if they had another camper you would never know it.
Unfortunately it was a rainy night. Could enjoy the campfire and listen to the crickets.

Amazing spot! I arrived at night and the directions were very clear and easy to follow in the dark. Joshua was really kind and communicative and while my stay was brief, it was the perfect pit stop along the way of my trip. The stream bubbling at night was so soothing, the Aspen is the place to be.

Such a lovely stay at Greene Kitchen Farm! The property is gorgeous - a really beautiful time of year to visit. The hosts were incredibly kind: the site my partner and I were staying at was on the other side of a creek. There had been rain all week, so the creek was much higher than usual. They helped us get our gear across the creek - really fantastic hospitality.

We loved camping here! The farm is beautiful and we had the chance to check out some animals like the cows, chickens, and my daughter’s favorite all the barn cats. We literally spent almost an hour with them, lol. We stayed in The Aspen and it felt like we were in our own little secluded oasis. Thank you for being such a great host. Next time we stay we hope to add on some eggs, it rained in the morning so we weren’t able to cook.

A great spot tucked in among farms on the outskirts of Bloomsburg. All of the profile info was accurate with a very welcoming campsite as you drive up the gravel driveway and around the Greene family barn.
Stepping over a small spring on a wooden walkway helps set the tone of the little nook of the Aspens plot. I'd highly recommend it for a getaway and if I were to do it again, I'd like to order some of their offerings like veggies and farm-fresh eggs.

Walnut Grove was great. My son said that it was the most secluded campsite we have ever gone to. Make sure you order some of the chicken and eggs fresh from their farm. Very tasty. Only complaint was that we couldn’t find a spot that was completely flat, but we still slept well with the natural white noise of crickets and birds.

The Aspen site is a small but provides enough space to spread out and enjoy the secluded nature.
Set in the middle of a farm, the mewing of cattle can be heard however it is not intrusive. Merely background to the other sights and sounds that nature provides.
This is precisely what I was looking. This primitive site has a fire ring and water nearby for drinking or cleanup.
I highly recommend this for anyone looking for the basics.

We stayed at Cherry Shelf. I would rate it 4/5. Lovely property. Tons of birds. Very quiet. 10 min from Walmart and 20 min from Knoebles. The eggs were delicious.
Things to make note of before booking: you should have an all wheel drive car to get across the little stream and drive down the long grass road. We slid around in our Outback so I can imagine a front wheel drive car would really struggle. The platform will not fit a family tent or a standard size canopy. The rest of the site is not super level. If you have an all wheel drive car and a small tent, you’re good to go.

A lovely farm setting with very gracious hosts who offer veggies (seasonal), firewood, chicken and eggs. The downside is that it is a farm and there can be a very strong odor of livestock combined with the constant sound of the river at Walnut Grove site (the other sites may not have the river sound). The other challenge was finding a level spot that was not flooded (in fairness we had an exceptional downpour all morning). If there is no rain predicted you'll be fine but if there is a chance of rain the water dumps right into that level spot.
