We live in the home on the property and can respond quickly if you need anything. Camp sites are off highway and behind a gate, mostly out of view from road; however, as we do lives on the property, it is not entirely secluded/private, and there will be noise from the highway. This is a multiple tent/RV area, and our house is at the top of the driveway, so there may also be minimal traffic passing by your site. There is abundant wildlife on our property, including deer, wild turkeys, black bears (rarely seen), many varieties of birds, and more. Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff.
Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located.

Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite.
Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge!
There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive.
There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go.
The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months (Mid April through Labor Day Weekend - please message us for exact dates if you need it and are booking outside this window). There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!

River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House.
This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

Tent and/or self-contained RV spaces available (NO UTILITY HOOK-UPS) just across the highway from the gorgeous Umpqua River. Could accommodate 5+ RVs or 10+ tents. Small country store and restaurant/bar within walking distance. Boat ramps within 3.5 miles. Perfect for fishing group, couples getaways, or family gatherings. We do have several dogs on the property (in fenced area away from camp sites), and they do bark when excited, so please consider this before booking. Your dog(s) or other pets will be considered if kept inside your RV/in a crate/on a leash at all times. Pet fee applies, and you must clean up after your pet(s). We live in the home on the property and can respond quickly if you need anything. Camp sites are off highway and behind a gate, mostly out of view from road; however, as we do lives on the property, it is not entirely secluded/private, and there will be noise from the highway. This is a multiple tent/RV area, and our house is at the top of the driveway, so there may also be minimal traffic passing by your site. There is abundant wildlife on our property, including deer, wild turkeys, black bears (rarely seen), many varieties of birds, and more. While this is exciting and beautiful to see, it is also very important to take safety precautions. Please keep all food contained and secure any garbage. We've recently finished building a barn workshop, a covered timber frame deck in the meadow, and a very unique woven tree net that you'll be sure to enjoy!
No dogs living here, just one friendly cat, otherwise it's squirrels, birds, and the occasional wild turkey procession or coyote.
There is a large garden, and when growing season is on, we may send you packing with some fresh greens or veggies! If you see us out and about, feel free to come say hello or ask questions.

Veneta/Elmira are charming small rural towns with all the basics less than 10 min drive: Grocery Outlet, Bi-mart, Ace hardware, Auto parts, some decent restaurants. Fern Ridge Lake is 10 minutes down the road for walking trails, boating and paddling, plenty of other outdoor activities nearby. Eugene is 25 min, and the beautiful Oregon coast is 45 min drive if you want to smell the ocean air and visit Florence.

Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff.
Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located.

Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite.
Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge!
There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive.
There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go.
The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months (Mid April through Labor Day Weekend - please message us for exact dates if you need it and are booking outside this window). There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!

River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House.
This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

Exceeded Expectations! Tim's property is stunning. Everything is very well maintained, the porta-potty is the cleanest and best smelling that I've ever experienced. The area is open, yet private. We had a sneaky visitor while we were gone one afternoon, help himself to a jar of peanut butter we mistakenly left out. Our Racoon camp buddy came back that night to sniff our tent and hang out in the bushes while we relaxed by the fire.
The location is perfect. It's very close to one of the best beach spots along the southern Oregon Coast, Sunset Bay.
While we didn't make use of the shower or sauna, we checked them out when we picked up firewood and chatted with Tim - they seemed clean and inviting.
Tim was a great host - I had some vehicle issues that caused us to get in very late one night and impacted our departure time. He just gave us a jovial wave as we left.
FYI - Lots of neat stuff to explore within the camping area - check out the creek!
The ground was wet and slick; I tried as hard as I could to not spin-out in my truck, but unfortunately I left a few minor marks in Tim's beautifully maintained grass. Very sorry, Tim!

The sites where way bigger than we expected, we had plenty of room for all of us. It was so nice.

The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

I’ve been looking for a camp spot next to water for a very long time, and not only did I find it, it exceeded every expectation I could have. From the very first email to Brooke, to checking out Sunday morning waving bye to Tom our weekend at Creekside Retreat was incredible. The campground is stunning, beautifully maintained, and packed full of activities from board games to hiking to a waterfall. The hosts have taken their hearts and souls and embedded it into this retreat and it shows through all the details. Not only will this be my favorite spot forever, it’s the one I’ll be telling everyone about. Thank you for the best weekend away!
