If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland.
Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.

The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land!
With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and lay out a few more sites!

you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

We loved our stay. It was so peaceful, with a beautiful field next door with a couple friendly cows. It nice to take our dog on a walk down the country road. Very quiet and relaxing spot. While it’s on their property it’s not in their way at all, and while it’s essentially a gravel lot with other campers everyone is very quiet and kind and you barely see any other people. The views are beautiful, the grassy area is great to play with kids. Easy to run water to fill tanks and power hookups are great. Would recommend.

A nice private quiet spot to park our RV, with full hook ups!
Worked out well for us to be close to family and friends over Christmas week.
Only slight negative would be the steep driveway off the main road - scraped the rear bumper on the way in and out … even with trying to go at an angle to avoid that. But those things sometimes happen with a 30 foot motorhome 😉

We spent a very quiet evening by ourselves with no interference or contact at all. We 're a couple with years on the road and quite capable. So it was perfect . The site was well marked with a picnic table and a great view . Will return.
