Such a fun unique place, we had a blast! Tony is super awesome and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the golf course. As a former golf course superintendent, it was such a thrill to checkout the layout of the course. Such a great camping experience. 10 stars out of 10 stars! I’m already checking my calendar to see when we can go back! We used our e scooters to checkout some of the other golf holes.

Weekend Trip to Mt. Hood Enchanted Forest

The three of us and our dog loved camping at tent site B! There was plenty of space for our two tents, and more if needed. The campfire setup overlooking the river was so peaceful. Having the three wheelbarrow/wagons available was extremely helpful and made hauling our gear down the winding dirt trail a much smoother task. We stayed just one night for a Mother’s Day celebration but are excited to book again this summer for a family camping weekend. We never heard the campers down at the cabin site, so the spacing of sites was ideal for privacy while at the same time not being too far of a walk to the potable water and toilet.

Weekend Trip to River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch

Our family stayed here for a night and it was wonderful to say the least! We were met by Kelly and her sweet dog Boone who showed us around and made us feel at home. We got to meet her chickens and goats and even did a nature walk around the property with them! My son really got a kick out of all the animals and got to pet and feed them treats that Kelly was so kind enough to provide. The views were incredible and the egg and salad breakfast Kelly so kindly prepared for us in the morning was a wonderful addition to the stay as well. Would definitely love to stay again and get a chance to check out the sauna, it looked awesome! Overall it was a wonderful stay and thanks again to Kelly and Randy for sharing their property with us!

What a delightful place! Peaceful, scenic and surrounded by personal family history dating back to 1850. Jim is a wonderful host. Thankfully his great great great grandfather established the farm ten minutes from the Oregon Garden, 30 minutes from Silver Falls and only 8 minutes from the Willamette Valley Pie Company!

Loved staying here, lots of fun activities to do! Facilities are kept clean and organized. The camping spot was nice and peaceful. The skateboarding areas are top notch and the sauna is perfect. As the cherry on top owner was also very nice and responsive. All in all we cannot wait to come back and visit again!

I loved the tipi, Rick was an awesome host. Provided us with extra propane when ours ran out! Went to check out the nearby waterfalls and it was great! Would definitely recommend/do again!

We had a great time 🤩✨, My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. Amazing facility for skateboarding, intense trampoline, rock climbing , ping pong and gym. This site is a luxury campers dream extremely nice tent with beds with heat pads and heater. They provide a lamp as well you can charge your phones with. We will definitely be back during winter season, they have amenities for snowboarders which is fantastic. Wonderful experience and think it’s absolutely amazing what programs they provide for students in action sports.

My husband and I really enjoyed the two nights we stayed on the property. It is literally right on the river with huge trees and old forest surrounding the site. The tent sites are thoughtfully laid out along with two picnic tables and fire pit. The ability to purchase wood multiple times throughout the weekend was top and made for a much more enjoyable stay. The port-a-potty was clean and easily accessible. Pack light because having privacy and river access means you have to cart and hike your stuff. There is a cart to help you. It's not bad at all but halfway up I did start thinking about all the stuff I brought but didn't use. Perfect getaway at a pretty rad price- can't ask for more than that! Thank you for sharing your space with us and I hope to be back soon!

Our stay was far beyond expectations! From the very start, our host went above and beyond—reaching out early with both a phone call and a text that included detailed directions, then meeting us at the entrance to personally escort us to our site. On the second day, they checked in again just to make sure we had everything we needed. The campsites were spacious, the bathrooms immaculate, and the entire experience was peaceful and relaxing. Between the sounds of the river, the birds, the privacy, and the comfort, it was exactly what we were hoping for—and more. This is a five-star spot all the way, and we’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had such an amazing time in the geodesic dome! Kelly went above and beyond as a host! The spot features gorgeous views of the Columbia river, along with farm animals, yard games, a hottub, and a sauna! What more could you want!? The dome was incredibly comfortable and Kelly had the place stocked with snacks, wine, board games, TV, and Wifi. My partner and I played Cornhole, played fetch with Boone (Kelly's dog), pet the goats, fed the chickens, cooked veggie dogs on the fire, and in the morning Kelly brought us eggs with toast and a delicious salad. It was such a relaxing time and an incredible getaway we will remember for a long time.

The campsite hosts were very friendly, and recommended us the best local places to visit. While the campsite is in close proximity to the road, the outdoor shower and sink, and cleanliness of the site easily makes up for it.

Our trip to Waterfall Sanctuary for a two-night camping getaway was absolutely relaxing and refreshing. We were immersed in nature at our campsite and enjoyed the diversity of the native plants around us, a hundred different bird songs coming from the trees and even spotted a few visitors at our campsite (a squirrel and a very inquisitive hummingbird!) Just a short walk away, we were spoiled with the luxury of a roomy sauna, coffee bar and bathroom and shower facilities. It was really the best of both worlds! Tyla was so kind and hospitable. She even helped us out by jumping our car when we accidentally let the battery die. We really enjoyed visiting with her and her various animals. Overall, an absolutely wonderful time. We can’t wait to go back again!

GeerCrest Farm

GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. The Pioneer Memorial Orchard features over 50 vairieties of pre 1850 apple trees. The Heritage Grove has ten fruit and nut trees that were recognizeds as a memorial the the early pioneers of the nursery trade by Oregon Heritage Tree program. The 20 acre property, offers three tent camp sites Including the Tree House site, as well as two forest cabins and a small forest bunkhouse (sleeps 6). Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here. With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season!
