We have a cute little property that's mostly shaded by large pine trees on the banks of the Sandy River. There's hiking, swimming, waterfalls, and some tasty restaurants nearby. Shady Pines on the Sandy River

It was a nice stay and we had a good time. 👍 It was a lovely view. I would say that it doesn't quite give you a camping experience when someone's lawn service is going on nearby. :⁠-⁠)

Shady Pines on the Sandy River

Great hosts! It’s hard to find a camp with amenities! Hot tub and bathroom tent were clean and in great shape. Sandy riverfront! The host's even helped us out when our son needed some emergency first aid. I was initially unaware of the degree of vehicle traffic in this area. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but the vehicle and aircraft noise was loud at times.

Shady Pines on the Sandy River

Our stay at Shady Pines on the Sandy River was lovely.The site was clean and convenient. The hot tub was clean. The host was very kind and responsive. The view of the river was great. The site is close to Lewis and Clark State Park which has some awesome hikes with lots of wild flowers in April. Would recommend!

Shady Pines, Planes and the River

Shady Pines had a lovely area to set-up our tent and the bathroom set-up was great. The chairs and the fire pit were a wonderful to have since we did not bring our own chairs. We were hoping to use the tent that Shady Pines advertised in their pictures so we would not have to set-up our tent for just one night but there was no tent when we arrived. Thankfully we had our own tent. It was a surprise for us to learn that this area of Oregon is right under the landing path of planes coming into the Portland airport so the air traffic was noisy at times. The river was beautiful!

Bell Tent on the Riverbank

I stayed two nights at the Bell Tent and it was just the escape I needed. :) Lovely & thoughtful accommodations, very convenient location, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the days. I look forward to a return visit! Thank you for allowing others to appreciate your amazing setup!

Bell Tent on the Riverbank

Wonderful Base Camp!

Briana was a great hostess! She was prompt in any questions we had and was so accommodating. The tent is located on a serene stretch of the river and was a fantastic base camp for exploring the surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the tent had a variety of amenities that made our stay perfect! Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was just what we needed. Thank you Briana!
