Sit on the covered porch no matter the weather and enjoy the sounds and scenes of nature. This is the ideal place to come and unwind with your very own waterfall. Your views will be of trees, mountains, the creek and waterfall. The cabin is far enough away from our home so you will have privacy and seclusion. It is a short but very uphill hike from the parking area. When you arrive, feel free to find your way up to the cabin. You may want to pack light as it is a bit of a hike! Linens and blankets will be provided for the King size bed. This is a one of kind rustic experience. We provide all of the firewood needed for the cabin inside for the wood stove and outside for the fire pit.Crystal Creek Cabin is located under large Cedar trees on our 80 acre property adjoining the Mt. Hood National Forest. Sit on the covered porch no matter the weather and enjoy the sounds and scenes of nature! This is the ideal place to come, unwind and just be. Inside the cabin is a wood stove for keeping warm during the cold months. This is an off grid cabin...however we have a Honda generator that can be used for lights and electrical plug-ins or go without electricity and use the lantern and candles provided. There is also a fire ring for campfires as well as a large pick-nick table. The cabin is constructed from local trees we've harvested using a sawmill as well as Redwood and Douglas Fir salvaged from an old water tower deconstructed locally on the mountain.  This is the perfect rustic, quiet and private retreat for all seasons. *Keep in mind there is a very uphill 5-10 minute walk to the cabin from where you'll park (pack accordingly and pack light).  Please arrive during daylight hours or bring lighting to guide your way (headlamps or flashlights) the path is sparsely lit. No plumbing inside the cabin (outhouse solely for the cabin). A water cooler is provided for drinking water. We also have a water spigot outside but the water is not drinkable. NEW ADDITION: if you've stayed with us before: We no longer have the twin beds or mattress in the loft. We've added a King size bed for accommodations up to 2 people. Please add the PET FEE to your booking if you wish to bring your dog.
