The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

Indian creek is a beautiful spot on the Elk River that's named after a creek that runs from the mountains into the river. It's located on 200 acres of land that is used to run cattle year round. I have added a photo in the pictures of a map showing directions on how to get to the campsite.
Just a 1/4 mile up the road is our family owned and operated RV Park which give access to restrooms, showers, laundry room, wifi, ice, and propane.
This spot has been our familys private paradise but we have decided its time to share this amazing spot with others so come enjoy privacy, beautiful views and the music of birds, the river running and trees rustling in the wind.

Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites.
I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite).
Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided)
Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.)
- Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party.
Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests).

Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. The beautiful redwoods and Jedidiah Smith State Park are just minutes away. It was easy to fall in love with this spot. It is clean, very quiet, well maintained, and the campsites are well dispersed so as to conserve privacy. The river access is quite nice. It's a welcoming extra to have a hot shower available. The directions were easy enough to follow- it is a bit out in the country, which is one of the charms. Yet it's close enough to Cape Blanco and other beaches that you can get to the ocean with just a short drive. To sum it all up, at the risk of being redundant, Fennel Flat at the Sweet Ranch is indeed sweet!

We spent two relaxing nights at Site 2 and had our best Hipcamp experience ever. This property is gorgeous, sited along the Sixes River. The five campsites are well spaced and Joe provides everything we need: a very clean composting toilet, a shower, water at each site, and firewood for a very reasonable price (although we elected not to have campfires). Most importantly for us, the place was super peaceful and totally silent at night. Watching the birds by the river in the morning was a special treat. Joe was very quick with his communication. We can’t wait to return!

This was exactly how I always hope hip camps turnout: camping in a beautiful location I never would have seen otherwise, with plenty of space, every campground having a fire place, and (bonus) it even had warm showers! Oh, and one could buy firewood at cheap rates on site! It was a fantastic stay in a beautiful location, highly recommend to anyone!

Had such a wonderful time/experience visiting Hanya's farm. Was welcomed by Dar the Camp Host and friends. They cooked me dinner unprompted and was served hot mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, black beans, homemade bread, and fresh corn on the cob. Felt like i was part of the family and back at summer camp. The site itself was beautiful and warm with free range sheep (wan&others), chicken and ducks wandering out the camp sites. Feel free to pick any fruits or veggies around their farm land for a fresh salad. Amenities included hot showers both indoor and outdoor.

The treehouse was lovely and the pictures are what to expect. The property is well kept and welcoming. The grove is in the middle of a suburban neighborhood in north crescent city. Unfortunately, it wasn't as secluded as I had imagined. There are several neighbors with farm animals, a particular barking dog and lots of children. Ear plugs were a must for me to get sleep.
The sound of birds in the morning and the presence of banana slugs were pleasant :) Watch your steps!

The property was narrow but we were able to turn around at the end of the driveway and back our trailer in. We chose site 4 which was a really nice site under a big tree. When we arrived, there was construction being done on the house until 9:00pm but that didn’t continue for the rest of our stay. There were several time when the dogs were barking including very early in the morning the day we were leaving. The property was in a beautiful area and we loved feeding the animals. When the dogs weren’t barking and after the construction stopped, the property was very peaceful and relaxing. There were full hookups at our site and it was nice to have WiFi, although it was weak and kept disconnecting. We would definitely recommend this camp site to others and we will keep this site in mind for future trips. Jose and Carolyn were very friendly and welcoming and even brought us fresh eggs! Thank you for making our stay comfortable!

We will DEFINITELY return you Fennel Flats! Or host Joe was an amazing host! Replied quickly to my questions, kept a beautiful ranch!!! I highly recommend Site #2! You WILL be protected from most wind. It was so private. Fun trails, able to have my 2 little for babies off leash safely. This was their first camping trip! Lol the Sixes River is a 2 minute walk from Site 2. Joe keeps the huge area with all Sites freshly mowed, nothing over grown. Access to firewood, the bathroom was SO clean as well as the super hot shower! This is our new favorite place!

Site 1 is a fantastic, spacious spot! Our golden retriever puppy, Pixie, had plenty of room to safely roam. We really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the entire area is, and the hot water showers were a great bonus. There is a lot of privacy since there are only 5 sites in total, and the compostable toilet was kept very clean. Just a heads up for future campers: there are some mosquitoes, but as long as you bring repellent, your stay will be amazing.

Beautiful property and drive the the flat clean camping spot. Lots of space in between campsites. Nice to be close to the water. Saw lots of blue heron.

The place is beautiful and relaxing. The sounds of the cattle and horses were so incredible. I would hear them in the mornings and evenings as I sat in bed. The ranch dogs would stop by and see me on thier daily rounds. Smokey would often hang out for hours. Walking to the barn to see the chickens was a treat on my daily stroll. But most impressed, is my dog. She loves it there and the smells that came with it.
I will be coming back every chance I get.
