Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites.
I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite).
Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided)
Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.)
- Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party.
Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests).

We have a large Koi pond and garden area
that we love to share with visitors if requested.
There is 1 large area to camp depending on the size of your group and how many self contained Vehicles/RV's. The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size. We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like. There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss. We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained. Pricing is $60 per night per RV. We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.
We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach. This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed. Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) If you do reserve with us, please make sure you reserve according to how many RV's in your group. Please be courteous when making reservations and try not to cancel last minute. If you have additional questions, please call or send me a message.
We like to let people know that there are a lot of deer passing through all the time and they do leave droppings everywhere that we cannot control, so please be aware. Pets must be on a leash at all times please.

The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

Our names are David and Nicole, this is a bit of our story. We were going through all that stuff and conversations that you do, when you know your spirit needs a big shift. It took two years and we narrowed it down to two choices both included letting go of "things" and the life we both thought we were working towards. In July of 2017 we closed escrow on our second choice, we purchased a neglected 1949 roadside motel and RV park in Bandon, OR. We haven't looked back and each day we pour our hearts out to revive the property. Some days you notice what still needs to be done there are many plans to make our vision whole, but most times you just notice the little things and it feels comfortable and welcoming. This was out first spot ever in our trailer and we had a great experience. It was clean and felt very cozy. The spaces are wide enough for us to back up into. It was quite and really enjoyed all the places to explore near by. We walked down to the county park and then drove to the gardens. Absolutely stunning.

Wow what a special place. So peaceful and truly private (which is huge when traveling with two dogs that will bark at anything). It was such a sweet oasis. I will say that if you input the coordinates into google maps it will take you across the river. My mistake for not listening to the clear directions Miranda gave. I did get woken up pretty early by the cows and bulls mooing and screaming haha but it’s a small price to pay for the beauty of the spot. I haven’t been able to find another camp spot that comes close to this one. I highly recommend if you don’t like campgrounds.

The family camped from Friday to Sunday the last weekend in March! When we pulled in we were immediately greeted by awe! The sites where all green with grass up to your ankles. The hills were picturesque with plenty of room for our 3 trucks and a 32' trailer. The awe didn't stop, as we went to the back of the property there was the Umpqua RIver flowing with geese performing flybys and enjoying the river. There are swings on tall trees that was hard to get the family off when it was time to go! Joshua was a great host with picnic tables and a fire pit to enjoy the night. All in all, a great time!

Nicole and Brian were EXCELLENT hosts and their property was beyond our expectations. It was gorgeous with a beautiful view- so peaceful! We sat outside and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The skies were clear so at night we were able to do lots of star gazing- love that. We will definitely be back!

The site is on the south side of the river so it was sunny and warm even this early in the year. It is on a great setting with surrounding views and the cypress trees lining the lower field were incredible (we are plant people)
The host Bonnie was very accommodating and we were comfortable staying there and yes we would stay there again.

We were only here for 2 nights but wished we had stayed another day or two. We were the only people there, the camp and golf course are separated and the camp area was really pleasant. Tim stopped by to make sure all was good, told us where to hike on site so we just stayed put and enjoyed the setting.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful property, gorgeous view of the beautiful ocean. The property was secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to hop into town. Highly recommended!
