It is situated near our rustic little red barn, and features a private access path and convenient tent-side parking. Your campsite fee includes the use of a fire pit, and chairs. Sweeping pastoral hillsides mixed with densely wooded private acres make our camps unique, each one offering a different experience. A developed network of our own marked trails for exploring, our private red slate swimming quarry with docks and seating, and catch release fishing at 2 ponds are a few things to enjoy here. Slate Valley Trails and Merck Forest are close by. Places to picnic, enjoy the sunset, and idle are a plenty. Our farm stand is stocked with seasonal produce, jams, eggs, and bagged ice. Spring water is available. Excellent locally burgers, steaks, chicken and more are available.

Private driveway in the woods leads up a hill to three fabulous, secluded, country-setting camping locations with incredible views. Hay fields in front of you with woods behind you, you'll have peace and quiet in total seclusion but are only 5 minutes from downtown historic Greenwich village with diners and shops and a CVS. (The “Stewarts” gas station and market has firewood bundles!)
Camping locations have no amenities but are cleared with mowed grass and have fire-pits. Pitch tent or bring RV, you'll enjoy yourself and the wildlife around you. Site 1 and 2 are adjacent to woods, site 3 is a wide-open-field site (great RV site) with the best panoramic and sunset view. This campground is easy to park with a convenient bathroom and showers that are fairly clean. Toilets were cleaned both mornings. The last shower stall is large enough to get clothes away from shower area. The shower heads are intelligently placed facing toward the back wall and there was plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are reasonably priced. We were there late in the season and they were doing some work with chain saws. Perhaps in preparation for the next season. Absolutely no managerial people spoke to us and the office was closed when we arrived. We just went to our reserved site.

We were overwhelmed by the beauty and layout of Caitlin’s land and location. It was late September and we had what seemed like the entire place to ourselves. The quietness was magical. No road traffic noise just sounds of the forest and small little critters gathering up winter food supplies. If you’re not a fan of an outhouse, you’ll be surprised by the cleanliness and design of the two. Fresh water and hand soap at each house. The showers were just as nice. We definitely will return to Caitlin’s land.

The owner was so kind - he even waited for us when we arrived late to make sure we knew where to park and to answer any questions.
The place is magical, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Waking up to that view in the morning was such a treat!
Of course, there are full hookups (electricity, water, and dump).
We had an amazing experience here and truly hope to come back in the future!

Jeff and Milton have a lovely property in a beautiful part of upstate NY. We chose it as it was a short distance from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) for a show we planned to attend. We enjoyed riding bikes along the country roads and the pups had a great time playing in the lush grass. The 30 amp hookup worked perfecty and the well water was clean and clear. We also had a fun evening by the fire on our last night and highly recommend this spot for a unique private getaway in a gorgeous setting with wonderful and helpful hosts.

We had an incredible camping weekend in Kelly’s land. We were situated on site 3, which was incredibly private and had a lovely picnic bench and a fire ring. The amenities were top-notch, with extremely clean bathrooms and showers. The campground’s standout feature was the Grab as you burn service. We had the pleasure of meeting Kelly and Rick during check-in, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts.
