Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal space by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once you close the driveway gates, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We also have a bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! Come and stay and say hi!

Part of our yard is secluded from the road. An average of 6 cars pass our home each day. There are homes within view but you will have enough distance from them to have privacy. The yard is surrounded by large trees and lots of shrubs. The grass is lush and organically grown. Campfire Safety: - Never leave a campfire unattended; ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving. Visitor Policy: - Guests are welcome until 10 PM; they must park at the office and check-in upon arrival. Driving: - Maintain a maximum speed limit of 5 MPH within the campground. Pets: - Pets are not allowed in the campground. Camp Equipment: - Do not relocate any camp Shabbat equipment without permission. Picnic tables should be returned if moved Firewood Policy: - Only use firewood available for purchase onsite; outside firewood is not permitted. Parking: - Never block roads or park on them, even for unloading. Park only at your designated site. - Over Shabbat, cars should be parked at the campground entrance, not at the sites. Respect Jewish Guidelines: - Please observe Shabbos practices and dress modestly (tznius) while on the campground.
