In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you. Learn more about this land: Feels like you’re away from civilization but yet close to all the Hudson valley has to offer. 15-20min from Woodstock, rosendale, stone ridge, Rhinebeck, red hook, New Paltz and Mohawnk short 30 min drive. A great lil spot/getaway from the city to reconnect with nature! My pup Pigeon and I were warmly welcomed by both Robin and Shirley and felt safe as can be. After scouring the town for a camping chair (practically heckled out of Home Depot since it’s “off season”..lol) Shirley was kind enough to lend us one that had me cozied up to the fire in no time! Felt at ease throughout the night, albeit some road noise, overall very much enjoyed our little romp. Would recommend!

Adele's property is nothing short of spectacular. The view from the overlook is gorgeous, and the recent addition of the Phoenicia town overlook is super cool! Her campsites are very well upkept. Her family was extremely inviting and friendly upon arrival. I cannot recommend staying at Adele's hipcamp enough! I will definitely be back!

Molly was terrific and the setting on the farm was great. Serene, private, beautiful. A little car noise, but quieted down at bedtime.

We used this site as a base for exploring sleepy hollow and the surrounding area. It was perfect. It was surprisingly private. We had friends come and use another site, we could barely see the top of their rv. There is a great trail for hiking. We loved our time here and definitely recommend it to others,

Great place to camp with great views of the lake. Farm animals on the property are friendly and very cute. We got to bottle feed a baby calf and hand feed other farm animals, lots of fun. At night we enjoyed cooking over campfires, stargazing with a glass of wine. Paul and Marilyn are great hosts, look forward to visiting next summer.

This place is amazing, it’s the only HipCamp site I have ever gone back to more than once. Three trips so far and plan to go back. The animals are very docile, the hosts are as friendly as can be but give you your space. Plenty of room to spread out. Generous amount of wood on site for the $$$.

Such an incredible experience. I expected to be on a small piece of land with a few animals, and we discovered a beautiful property with animals of all ages and varieties. The hosts were warm and invited guests to interact with the animals/feedings/grounds. Nothing better than to wake up to baby goats.

Nice, partially secluded individual campsites my sport sedan could easily get to during the dry season. Might get tricky if it rains though. There's also a Walmart 3 miles away for supplies. Also, Jen's breakfast sandwiches nearby are absolutely worth it!
