New in July, 2026! A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware River. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, and hand launch your kayak or small boat.
Guests enjoy eagle sightings, birdwatching, and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled in a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. The riverfront is a one minute walk down a trail to a gently sloping riverbank. The water is typically 1-3 ft deep near shore.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras) or on-site. Bring your own drinking water jugs. Garbage is pack in, pack out.
Group sizes: 4 people per site. We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Send us a note. A full site buyout for up to 20 guests is also available.
Well Behaved Dogs: At Site 5 Grouse Cove only. This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs.
River safety: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables - hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail. Trailered boats - launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot.
About Your Hosts: We are two nature-loving families with a 10+ year connection to the area. Our vision is a friendly, peaceful, low-density campground where friendships are made for a lifetime. We're hosting campers who are passionate about enjoying, conserving, and improving this incredible ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.
Location: You'll be at the edge of the Western Catskills just below the convergence of the East and West branches of the Upper Delaware River. Rent a burner, fryer, crab pot or wok included with propane, to experiment and create a memorable meal.
Easily access cold food and drinks with a full-size refrigerator, in the nearby pavilion. Safely store supplies with plenty of ample dry shelving. Making coffee for your group is easy, using our fresh, well water and bulk 15 cup coffee maker. Conveniently, power rice cookers and crock pots at our small appliance station. Enjoy meals and quality time utilizing multiple areas, such as our wrap around bench, picnic tables, and lean to area. Afterwards, dishes are easy, including late night clean up with our lighted, double sink dishwashing and drying area.
Listen and enjoy your playlists with the Pyle Bluetooth surround system while playing fun yard games or shoot some hoops (bring your own ball). Access our unique bathhouse and clean, interesting outhouse. Build a campfire, whenever you like in our firepit with self-serve firewood. In the evenings, illuminate a portion of the camp with the horseshoe pit overhead lights. Star gazing is amazing with dim lighting or bring a telescope.
The activities and adventure continue offsite and nearby from natural areas and a distillery to outdoor Mexican food with a view. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and country views while strolling along Shea and Klondike Road. Offsite and for easy water recreation, swim, fish or relax on the river rock beach, at the East Branch River Access, only 8 minutes away from camp. Beyond the river and just a few minutes away, Rock Valley Spirits, offers distillery tours/tastings/cocktails with scenic outdoor views and seating. Grab a bite to eat at Salsa Shack, less than 10 minutes away, while gazing at the lush greenery, mountain views and beaver pond. Afterwards, work off the meal, with an amazing and scenic hike, or walking trails. The famous Jensen Ledges and Patridge Walking Trail are a short drive away. On the way back to camp take a quick dip at the Lordville River Access, stop at the Equinunk General Store or grab some ice cream at The Cow Lick.
Besides the plethora of possibilities, other amenities are included with your stay. As an overview, included with the camp are bulk cooking items (pots, pans, serving utensils, knives, spices), large 15 cup coffee maker/urn and 7 to 14 gallons of fresh, drinkable, well water for your usage. Upon reservation, we provide a kitchen content list of specific items. Please bring your own dishes, flatware, cooking oils, paper products, storage containers, etc.

Wahl Dairy Farm has been a family run and owned small farm since 1921 when August Wahl moved their family to Callicoon. August was a butcher by trade, and the farm started as a family homestead, raising their own chickens and cows with the help of a few horses and of course August's father who was very handy and could make axe handles and wooden wheel spokes.
The Wahl homestead became Wahl Dairy Farm in the 1940s when August started selling milk, two or four cans at a time, to the creamery. August's son, Vernon, took over the business and built it up; at one point about 100 cows were being milked! Vernon's son Ross took over the farm in 1995 and diversified it. Ross regularly raises chickens and pigs and grows pumpkins, in addition to the 40 or so milking cows currently on the farm (there are also calves and heifers).
The farm is about 200 acres in total, including 15 acres of woods, 15 acres of "hunting" land (deer and rabbits roam free in the scrub), and close to 150 acres in production with pasture and hay. We never feed corn silage! We believe the corn gives the milk a more sour taste (you are what you eat!). We're proud that we've always been in grassland and committed
to raising a mostly grass fed dairy herd, a quality not found in many diary farms today. We're excited to share this place with you!
In addition there is excellent cell phone service on the farm! Great for digital nomads and everyone who needs to stay connected. The site is the second highest point in Sullivan County. Some of the most beautiful views in New York State!

We absolutely loved our stay. The site is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly private, with gorgeous views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy being outdoors. It was exactly the kind of quiet getaway we were hoping for and a perfect home base for exploring the Delaware River and Narrowsburg.
Adam was a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive throughout our stay. Everything was easy from arrival through departure, and we really appreciated how available he was whenever we had a question.
We spent a lot of time simply enjoying the property, sitting outside, grilling, having fires, and taking in the scenery. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private RV getaway in the area.

It was like the garden of Eden. Absolutely perfect. Didn't see a soul. Our dogs could run fee with no worries. Fruit trees with fruit. Lavender and butterflies. Lush meadows. Perfection. He even has a place to dump waste. I didn't know that prior. Its so rare to find one with waste as well.

Great full hookup site! Very friendly hosts and spotless camp spot with picnic table and fire ring. Very quiet. Not too far from Bethel Woods where we saw a couple shows. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our favorite spot of our quick 3 day trip. Absolutely beautiful land, well maintained, and incredibly welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. The seafood platter we got after checking in was such a nice surprise; we enjoyed chatting with Frank and learning about the area. Watching the geese march down to the pond in the morning and then back up to the house in the evening was quite entertaining. Nugget the turkey visited us a couple times and we had quite the conversation. We will absolutely be repeat campers at Mountain Hollow Farm.

Jim and Carol’s campsite was the perfect spot for us to stay with our two dogs. It was driving distance to a ton of lakes which was great so we were able to go fishing and rented a row-boat at Lake Superior State Park. Our dogs enjoyed the campsite as well. There was plenty of space to walk them around and help them get out some energy. This was the perfect hipcamp for us. It’s so convenient to have water, sewer, and electric without having to deal with a crowded campsite. We hope to be back again soon. I highly recommend this hipcamp!

We had a great stay at this site. It was easy to get our RV into the site, and the spot was very level, making setup quick and stress-free. The location was quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views that made it a relaxing place to spend time. The host was friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. Frank is a great host. He is very thoughtful and responsive. He provided a great hors d’oeuvres plate the night we arrived, which was beyond expectation and delicious. The pond is excellent for fishing as my son caught a couple very large trout. Great location close to Deposit. We have a 20 foot trailer camper and I highly recommend this site.

My wife and I had a relaxing weekend.
The cute little lake kept her busy all weekend catching sunfish and pearch. She even caught a bass, it was on the small side but gave her a nice fight jumping out of the water and doing its best to get away.
The WiFi worked great, the bathrooms were very clean, and the grounds were tidy.
The only thing that keeps this camp ground from being perfect is the lack of grass on the individual camp sights. Most of the seasonal sites had cute little lawns, but the visitor sights had very little.
The owner was wonderful! We could have sat down with both her and her son and chatted the day away, but had to let them get back to work.
We will be back, possibly before this summer is over.

We had a great time at Franks place. The sites have full hookups for rv campers. This is the first hipcamp I ever went to that the host brought a full seafood/chessboard platter that was excellent.
If you are into hiking bring waterproof boots to make it across the shallow creek.
Frank has a turkey that is a protector of the property and spent every minute at our site.
Again Frank was a great host, the fishing was great. Binghamton is not too far away if you need something to do. Otherwise you can hike or fish on the property.
The rv sites you can back in or pull thru, they are close to each other side to side.
