Fisherman’s Bend
We had a great time coming back to Eugene and Bri's campsite. This was our second trip to Fisherman's bend and the deck and stairs were great additions. The space is well kept, the toilets were clean, the trash cans are convenient. Eugene and Bri were helpful and responsive. Beautiful campsite, the water felt amazing, and really cool to see the bald eagles! Can't wait to come back.

Amazing stay! Great spot, great hosts (super responsive and accommodating). Saw the Eagle twice, had great luck fishing the stream down below, and cannot recommend it enough.

Great spot! Loved the waterbed being so close! It is a bit of a rocky drop to the river but doable in crocs! We got to see two bald eagles!! It’s rocky ground so a bit difficult to stake up a tent, thankfully it wasn’t windy on our stay. Love the availability of a grill to be able to have a fire and make food. Unfortunately the fairy lights didn’t light up for us but I know that touch makes it so magical!

Nice place! Could use a beer fire ring and the hwy was a little loud at times but not enough to not appreciate the spot. Great water, crazy private and bathroom was spotless. Would def go back.

Eugene and Bri have made camping very comfortable at their site: solar lights, portapotty, garbage bins, hammock, an extra grill and utensils. They were very easy to communicate with and provided ample firewood for our trip. The river view and area down by the water was very nice. As others have mentioned, there are two roads close by which create a lot of noise and the site was a bit rocky.

Site was easy to find and the hosts were readily available. Clean portable toilet on site, picnic table, fire ring and some string lights. River is just downhill and pretty easily accessed. Great proximity to both Roscoe and Livingston Manor

Possibly one of the most serene campsites I’ve ever stayed at! I’m used to camping in more of a wooded area & seeking out water during the day, but having a creek just down the hill made our weekend so special. Picnic table & hammock came in handy, as well as outhouse + trash bins! & the rumors are true, there’s a bald eagles nest close by - bring binoculars! All around loved this spot, would definitely return.

The area was nice. The creek was a short walk down the hill which we spent a lot of time there. We watched eagles fly around. There was a fire pit and utensils to use. It was great having the dogs off leash. We wanted to explore the woods but didn’t have the time. Evelyn’s ice cream was a couple miles away. It was a bit close to Route 17 so you could hear the traffic.

Lovely spot: river view, private, picturesque. But major road is very close, and heard truck all night. Also, ground is rocky (as hosts noted) and a small creek/drainage cuts through the middle of the site, leading to some muddy shoes. Hosts were responsive and logistics were all very smooth.

We had an amazing experience at Fisherman’s Bend! The site was peaceful, spacious, and incredibly scenic—right along the river with crystal-clear water and beautiful views in every direction. It was the perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. Our group of 15 had plenty of room to set up, and the site was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Falling asleep to the sounds of the river and waking up to the fresh mountain air was unforgettable. The hosts, Eugene and Bri, were responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. Whether you're fishing, hiking, or just looking to relax by the water, this spot is ideal. We’ll definitely be back!

Site was even better than the pictures! Spacious, private and great views. River felt amazing. Saw two bald eagles. Eugene was helpful and communicative. Would definitely camp here again.

Absolutely love this site! It’s gorgeous, private, and well located. Will definitely come back here as soon as we are able. Host was kind and responsive but we really didn’t need anything from him because the site was great! Bonus, there is a bald eagle nest across the water from the site. We saw one a couple of times, stunning! Had never seen one so up close. Definitely recommend this site.
