Weekend Trip to Grain Surfboards- The Woodlot

The hosts were great, and the spot was all about convenience. If you are trying to spend your time on the beach, or a central spot for costal exploring, it's hard to find a camp site much closer. Coffee right out front your camp site, small market a short walk away. It's a very cute community. I hope I can grab this spot again on my next trip to the cost and hopefully get to check their shop out too.

Weekend Trip to Crooked Run Adirondack

Such a great spot for a weekend getaway! The site had everything you’d need for a great experience. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, plenty of seating, and awesome location right by Crooked Run stream! We did see a fair amount of ticks but we didn’t have too many problems with them. I’d definitely stay here again in the future!

We had a wonderful time camping here this past weekend even with all the rain. The land is beautiful, tucked away by the woods where it felt private and peaceful. Our favorite spot was relaxing on the deck by the stream, the perfect place to relax. When we had a minor hiccup with our gear, Sean, the host, went above and beyond to offer help. Thankfully everything worked out, but his kindness and hospitality really made us feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a serene, nature-filled getaway, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Sean gave great directions and we were easily able to find the property. The corral is level and groomed for easy parking, and we were so thankful for a “real” bathroom. Great place to stop when visiting the Maine coast with relatively quick access to York, Ogunquit, and Portland beaches!

Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
