Such a cool spot! The RV site is pristine and has a fantastic setup with extras like tables, string lights, sink etc that are so helpful. Eben is a great host, gave us tons of ideas of things to do on the property as well as nearby. The property is SO cool, we spent an afternoon exploring the mountain - it's clear he takes incredible care of his land, the trails are well maintained and marked, the blueberry patches were SO amazing, and we got to check out the tent sites which also had fantastic setups with lots of extras. We had a great time!

Site 9 has really been expanded from last year and the additional of metal fire pits was a great move. This is definitely one of my favorite campgrounds

We loved this site! Eben was super friendly and helpful and he really did think of everything for the RV site. The hiking was beautiful, and the tent sites all looked very well set up also. We will definitely be back.

Loved spending the night of Cheryl’s farm. Quiet and level location just minutes from the Maine turnpike. Great for long trips or a quick stop as you’re making your way further up north. Would definitely stay again!

Great camping site with all the necessary items (picnic table, tarp, bathroom, flat ground). Felt secluded and private despite being close to town, very friendly host and a bonus dog! Unfortunately weather prevented us from swimming but the river looked great!

Super peaceful camp with a smart setup, huge tarp covered platform and gorgeous woods and river. River is great for wading and fishing. No road sound. Occasional airplane flyovers. Huge hit with this fishing family.

1 night at Harveys Hill Cantina & Sky Views

The Cantina campsite absolutely lived up to our expectations. It was wide open with panoramic views. From the amenities in the cantina (coffee maker, fridge, deep freezer, etc) as well as the huge fire pit we had everything we would possibly need. The site was quiet and had a beautiful breeze (welcome after a four day heat wave) but we were only a few miles from the village. I will definitely be back.

Our stay at Bob’s was great; our pups enjoyed the freedom of play time at our camp. No noise from the outside and inside camp area. Bob was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Bob assisted us with our trip down the river with vehicle drop and directions for floating down the river. It was simply beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable!

Weekend Trip to Hussey Mountain Tree Farm

Our host, Eben, has created a beautiful oasis for campers. So many little touches that make the place extra special. We were at the BASECAMP site which is located at the front of the mountain. The site itself was beautifully adorned with flowering plants and tiny pine trees. It had a super clean grill and picknick table with a sideboard with station for food prep. The firepit was huge and even even set it up with kindling for the first fire !! On the left of the dining area there was a adorable outdoor shower and a dishwashing station. Couldn’t ask for more ! The trails were clearly marked with signs and a printed map. Unfortunately it rained during our stay so we didn’t get much hiking in but we did enjoy the seacoast arwa !! So much fun. Highly recommend Eben’s spot !

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Daniel’s lovely campsite located right by the river in a private backyard setting. It was a truly peaceful and calm spot, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature under the trees after a long hot day at the beach. The location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to Ogunquit and Hampton Beach (30mins away) and to grocery stores and restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic camping experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway! We will definitely come back!

Ellie and Dwayne who run the camp are so nice and wholesome. They drive around on an atv with their little dog and wave a friendly hello. Cleanest portopotties I’ve ever seen to be honest and don’t hesitate to ask them where to go, what to do or if you need something.

Once this property was part of a large chicken farm, the fields were hayed and still are. The meadow filled with water after logging occurred about 70 years ago creating the swamp. Recently, small farm has been built here that includes alpacas, a llama, ducks, chickens, kitties and a rescue dog Beautiful farmland with livestock, including alpacas! An open field, forest, walking trails and a peaceful swamp with wildlife is all at your disposal while you are here at Someday Farm! We have a total of 12 sites for your enjoyment, there are a few sites here (Site 1, 5 and Site 12) that allow campers and tow behinds. Others may work We are in central NH only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire. Whether you are up for just hanging at your campsite, exploring the swamp, picnic in the field overlooking the swamp, visiting the animals, or visiting around town, hiking nearby trials, we are here for your stay! We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers or small campers. All of our sites offer potable water, solar shower bags, parking, fire pits, and a picnic table. Welcome Center! complete with a game section, dry firewood bundles, water, fire starter kits, also, extra supplies for purchase such as drinking water, bug spray and some homemade items, eggs, toiletries and some other items to purchase with cash (honor system) or Venmo or PayPal. Check it out! You don't need to purchase extras online if you'd rather pay here with a cost savings for you :) Onsite also, is a small library inside the Carraige House, let me know if you need a book. The old greenhouse has extra firewood available for your needs, located between 8 and 9 - also some items for you, to use, rent or purchase. Blackberry picking Aug-Sept. 1 pint free and then $5.00 a pint-honor system. Common Area-Strickly foot traffic only, this is a space to enjoy the open sky with a table, firepit and a grill for anyone's use. If you don't want to bring a grill and don't want to cook on grates. It is a first come first serve basis. But maybe your neighbors' will all come and cook with you? Cornhole!! Setup on weekends along the drive and next to the Common Area, find the bags in Welcome Center. The Shelf has many games, please return when not in use. Once you are confirmed an email is sent offering places around this beautiful town that you may visit at your leisure, including Shaker Village, Canterbury Ale works, Canterbury Woods Golf course, Hackleboro Orchards, our own Canterbury Country Store-1 mile away, Cold Garden Sprits is a new small distillery that is fascinating! If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton and Laconia to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away. Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. Feel free to msg me or call for questions and information. ATFS Certified Tree Farm Est. 2004 Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Camp above the bank of the Souhegan River under shade of oak, hickory, blue birch, hemlock and white pine. Let the song of the rapids sing you to sleep. Maybe the resident owls will join the serenade. This slice of heaven is only 5 minutes from the Everett Turnpike and within an hour of Boston. Weather concerns? The best forecast we've found for Merrimack is https://www.wmur.com/weather. Want to see what the river is doing? Check out https://water.noaa.gov/gauges/SOHN3. 500 CFS is a sporty run with canoe or kayak. Anything under 200 is great for swimming with kids. SPECIAL NOTE: June 22th Update River has dropped to 200 CFS which means it's at a nice level for both swimming and boating. Roads are passable. We just had campsites and surrounding trails sprayed for mosquitos and are seeing a sharp improvement on those pests. Keeping the campfire burning helps as well. More description... Site-1 is located under the trees adjacent to our 3 acre meadow and Christmas Tree farm. Camp near the bank of the Souhegan River in the shade while listening to the river tumble over the ledges upstream. In season, enjoy the chest deep swimming hole 100 feet from your campsite. Two horses graze on the other side of the privacy fence. If you don't like friendly dogs try site 2 where we have a better chance of keeping our dog Wilson from dropping in to visit. He loves people too much not to want to greet folks on Site 1. Site-2 is at the farthest most downstream end of the property and from mid-May to mid-October it is totally screened by foliage. From your site you only see trees and the river. If you don't like other dogs, this is the site you want. Still no guarantee Wilson won't visit, but it's easier to keep Wilson away from here. The other side of the river is town conservation land so the only people you're likely to see will be passing by in kayaks or on paddleboards. In dry season, both sites are a great place to start a float trip and you'll likely have the next 1.5 miles all to yourself since rapids up stream become impassable wet rocks in July and August. You are only two traffic lights away from the Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall if you need something to do during inclement weather.

The name wolf Swamp comes from the Pony Express Riders that carried Mail from The Canterbury Railroad Station to The Northfield Station. There were many Wolf Sitings reported on the Trail through the Swamp by The Riders, so it was named The Wolf Swamp. The Campsites are spread out over 52 Acres, lots of privacy, plenty of parking and the sites are huge. Lots of hiking in area, 5 different Swimming locations, we are in the Center of the Local Trail System. Local attractions are minutes away, Highland Mountain Bike Park, Canterbury Aleworks, Canterbury Woods Country Club, Shaker Village, Brookford Farm, Hackleboro Orchard and Fishing or kayaking the Merrimack River or enjoying the Beach at Sandogardy Pond with it's children's Playground.
