This was my second time staying and it was just as lovely! April is a wonderful host, and the space is wonderfully peaceful and stocked with basically everything you need. It is such a convenient location too---took only 90 minutes or so even with traffic from the Boston area! It's nice to have a getaway without having to drive all the way up to the lakes region or White Mountains. Could not recommend more!

Pine Brook Retreat
I absolutely loved this campsite! The cabin was cute and cozy, and the nearby brook was so pleasant to listen to and watch flow. I even took a dip in it to clean up a bit! The campsite itself is in the trees and shaded so the 85 degree days felt more like 75 degree days at the camp, which was much better for my dog who overheats. Everything was clean. Plenty of drinking water was provided. The toilet nearby was great. I loved the swing. The king size air mattress provided was perfect for me and my dog to cuddle up at night. April was a very thoughtful host and made sure I settled in okay and asked if I needed anything. 10/10 would recommend! I hope to come back soon!

Pretty much exactly what I expected from all the positive reviews and pictures, the host was communicative and it was a cozy little cabin. Make sure to bring lots of blankets if you're camping in the spring like us, we ended up being a bit cold.

Pine Brook Retreat
Perfect peaceful spot to relax and shut down. We didn't really need anything but we knew April was there if we did. There are a lot of little things April leaves in the cabin in case you forget anything which is appreciated. It is decorated so cute with little lights inside which I appreciated at night. The spot is gorgeous with the sound and sights of a brook and trees. What more could you ask for? Sitting by the fire watching the moon rise and sipping coffee with the sun rise was so enjoyable. We didn't bring our dogs but will in the future. A great spot for them. You are in nature and have total peace but with the security of knowing April is right there if needed and hiking and stores are close by if you need them. Highly recommend this spot.

Cutest little cabin nestled in a well loved place. The area built out for camping was so lovely and everything in the cabin was well thought out. We were unfortunately there during a burn ban but there was a lovely propane fire we were able to use and it was perfect. Listening to the creek while drinking my morning coffee was so so perfect.

Such a peaceful, quiet, and relaxing spot! April was so helpful and provided so much information beforehand and supplies on site, so that I could focus on relaxing and recharging. Loss of little touches made this an exceptional place to stay for a few days. Thank you!!
What a perfectly wonderful, private, peaceful site surrounded almost completely by the shade of tall pines and maple trees with a nearby babbling brook. Nothing fancy, simplicity is exactly what I was looking for and I wasn’t disappointed. True camping feel without dealing with a tent! The A frame is super cozy and the two comfy air mattresses were clean and made up with fresh sheets, spreads and extra blankets. Thoughtful touches included bug spray, small lantern, games, percolator (and mini coffee pouches), twinkling lights and other basic essentials such as mugs, plates, pan, axe, oven mitts. The fire pit was already set up with kindling plus a large bin full of assorted sizes of wood close by. Fresh water was always available and refilled at my request but I honestly never even had to ask. :)
The rechargeable fan was a lifesaver as it was extremely hot and humid during my stay. It was perhaps my favorite camping “luxury” of all!
April is an awesome host, very responsive to your needs. I loved her way of making me feel alone, yet not. Communication and instructions were easy, and she brought a lot of my stuff up from the camp to my car with her ATV. Another lifesaver! I’m on the older side, my body is nothing what it used to be and her help was IMMENSELY APPRECIATED.
This was my very first experience with Hipcamp and I am extremely happy with my stay. Will definitely be booking again!

What a great little cabin in the woods. Short walk in, very secluded. Comfy beds, big fire pit for cooking. Very peaceful. "The Lodge" happens to be in a circle of Sycamore trees and we saw a huge owl. . . Is this a Twin Peaks reference???? 😂🦉☕🥧🍒🚦
The brook at the bottom of the campsite was the most calming sound ever. Spent the day trying to catch frogs with my daughter and had a fire at night. The cabin gets pretty hot and there’s no screen for the door, bring a fan for sure. The tics were pretty bad when went. April was extremely accommodating and the stay was perfect !

We had a lovely stay at the Pine Brook lodge over the long weekend. So cozy, comfortable and lovely to be in nature. April was extremely attentive & the thoughtful touches really made our experience! We’ll absolutely be back :)
What a gorgeous, peaceful spot - totally surrounded by nature, yet only a few hundred steps from the road. Very convenient for my 1 night stay. Would highly recommend, it would be even more fun to camp with family or a small group of friends. I hope I get to visit again soon! Thanks April!!!
We loved staying at The Lodge on April's land! The little A-frame was the perfect no frills stay that was a step up from tent camping without feeling over the top. We cooked smash burger tacos on the firepit and it kept us warm in the evening/into the night. The fairy lights in the A-frame were the perfect touch, and the provided amenities/equipment (utensils, bug spray, cooking pan, mug, coffee, hatchet) were well thought out and VERY functional. It was a bit cold to go in the water, but the brook that runs by the camp would be perfect to cool off in during the summer. Highly recommend this stay for a weekend getaway!
