Simply the best tenting you can find in the White Mountains. The campground to get away from campgrounds, where magic touches every corner. Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Thank you for being a part of the healing. We hope you enjoy what we have created here :)

PRIVATE waterfront campsite - EXCLUSIVE use!! Eagle View Pines, in beautiful Hiram Maine, is a peaceful and private 2+ acre property surrounded by tall pine trees with 300 feet of Saco River frontage! Guests will enjoy a floating dock for swimming, fishing, and kayaking! Two kayaks and one canoe are on site for guest use. Guests can also enjoy a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, a solo stove for campfires (please bring your own wood) and a hammock for relaxing and watching the eagles flying above as well as the stunning sunsets! We have two winding trails (one to the right of the picnic table and one to the left of the hammock) that lead to points with chairs and stunning views of the water! A small trailer is on site, filled with little amenities from bug spray to binoculars! A 30/50 amp electric hookup is available for your RV or camper (and standard outlets for use if you are tenting!) and our gravel driveway can fit a 30 foot camper. A Porta-potty is available for campers with tents. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them, and leave no trace. Dogs are more than welcome here (please pick up after your pet!), but please note this property sits approximately 20 feet above the riverbank, with natural stairs leading down to the water. This site is not appropriate for very young, unsupervised children. The Saco river can be unforgiving, and this is an ever-changing site. At any given time, depending on the weather, the water can be high, or low, and this can change the landscape to some extent. We are always making improvements and cleaning the land (cutting dead or fallen trees etc.) so we appreciate your understanding of these rustic qualities! Hiram is located about 30 minutes from North Conway NH with amazing restaurants and outlet shopping, and about an hour from the coast and Portland Maine. The sweet little town of Cornish is just a 15 minute drive, and Naples and the Sebago Lake area are just a short drive as well! There are several hiking trails nearby. The Mount Cutler Park and Conservation Area is just a 10 minute drive, featuring trails that provide stunning views of Hiram and the surrounding mountains. Or, you can simply go for an evening stroll down the charming, quiet dirt road after your relaxing day on the river!

Just north of the Presidential Range in the White Mountains, Moose Brook State Park is the kinda place you’ll be proud to say you spent part of your summer vacay. Between the Peabody and Moose rivers, fishing is a popular recreational opportunity and Moose Brook infuses the swimming area with crystal clear mountain water. To dry out after that plunge, take to the many trails in the park, explorable by foot or mountain bike. The park also has facilities to host a family reunion, corporate outing, wedding and more. And by more we definitely mean a Rocky and Bullwinkle fan appreciation gathering. Moose Brook? The Peabody River? Could there be any more of a fitting place for that to happen?

We are off the beaten path in the forest near the White Mountain National Forest. A 6 to 8 minute hike from your site gets you to a private lake. We have two local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain right from your site. Toad Hall is a heated, one room, 8x8 cabin in Harrison, Maine, with access to the Bear River for wading and swimming (depending on the river height.) There is a firepit at the cabin, along with one down by the river. Firewood is provided. The lower area by the river is a beautiful place to hang out, pitch hammocks etc... The cabin is near the road, which is great for loading in and loading out, but you will hear/see cars drive by. (Read our reviews, we stand by them!) There is no running water or bathroom on the property so please bring a camping potty and do not bury human waste! The Bear River, which is a beautiful spot to swim and wade in, runs right through the property- but it's also drinking water and a protected watershed. Again, please make sure you have a camping potty plan. Cabin Features: There are 2 cots inside, but also feel free to bring your own pads/bedding. There are solar lights inside, along with a USB plug to charge small devices. It is a clean, warm, dry room, with beautiful light and good ventilation with the windows cracked. Nearby places you will like: We are within walking distance to downtown restaurants and public swimming area on Long Lake. There's also porto potties next to the walkable country store, which has everything you forgot to bring. Also a great ice cream shack, and an above-average watering hole, The Olde Mill Tavern. This is a self check-in/out, so expect an easy arrival process (and we'll ask you to please leave the property prepared for the next guest to arrive.)

Immerse yourself in a century old Hemlock and Beech forest overlooking a spring fed mountain brook as it cascades around granite boulders. The biodiversity here is thriving and some of the trees are as old as the country. The site is set up to be easy from the minute you pull in. We have a single, private site- it's wide, level, scratch-free, with a granite firepit, firewood for purchase on site, a fast dry double hammock, a live edge picnic table, screaming WiFi, a kid friendly target game, no limitations on generator use and a mile of private trails. The firepit is a stunning spot to settle in on the Adirondack chairs and enjoy a crackling fire tucked in the towering trees and moss. The sound of the brook Is an ASMR dream and you may see a heron, a bald eagle or a mink who are regular visitors. While you’ll feel miles from civilization, our high-speed WiFi allows for seamless remote work, stargazing with a soundtrack or streaming your favorite shows on a rainy day. New for 2026, we have doubled our private trail system! The trails on either side of the brook wander through both sides of our property to secluded spots where you can see the remains of a beaver lodge and dam (currently between occupants). Our game cameras regularly capture porcupines, bobcats, owls, herons, otters, eagles, and just about every eastern woodland animal and bird you can imagine. This spring there is a bald eagle who fishes in front of the cabin most days. We are Brad and Christine and we live further up the driveway in our solar-powered log cabin. While you may catch glimpses of the red cabin or solar array through the trees, we honor your privacy while being nearby in case you need something. We don't overlook the site directly, and you can't see us beyond the occasional glimpse or on the trails passing closer to the buildings. We drive down the driveway past the site if we are leaving or returning home, which we minimize when we have guests. We are located two miles down a gravel road, 2 miles off Rt. 16, you are 15 minutes from groceries, pharmacies, EV charging, gas, and a local campground who can arrange for you to dump your tanks. We are in East Wolfeboro, a half hour drive to Downtown. Historic Portsmouth, NH and the Maine coast are an hour away.
