Lakefront Tent Campsite
I loved tent camping at Mac's Camping Area! My family had a wonderful time. They were warm and welcoming, and I couldn't believe how clean and accommodating the facilities were! I have never had electricity at a camp before, what a great and useful idea! We enjoyed the lake view and playing fun games like cornhole and horseshoes. We would definitely like to visit again to explore more.
Mac's camping area saved my vacation!!! I had booked a different camp site for a week, thinking we're going to have a waterfront vacation. I arrived at the camp site, which was far away from a lake... My son found Mac's online, I sent a booking request, and I started driving before our booking request was confirmed, and the owner kindly gave me a call while I was driving towards them in despair. Mac's seem to have a bunch of regulars that keep their campers there, and people we met were very nice, not to mention the owner and the caretaker are very kind and super nice. The 3 tent sites at Mac's are located closest to the Tripp Pond waterfront with easy access to dock and swimming area! They have paddle boards, kayaks, and a canoe for you to use! Tripp Pond is just big enough to explore, and is a home to loons, bold eagles, and other wildlife. My son is not a hardcore camper, and he really appreciated their clean bathhouse. If you are looking for a waterfront camping experience with great view, and convenient access to portable water, electricity, bathhouse, and some type of water vessels you can use, this is the site for you!
Very welcoming, they treat everyone like family!! When we arrived they were setting up gift a luau, and gave our group of 5 grass skirts, coconut and seashell bras, leis, and even flip-flops and hats. We were then invited to they had nothing to bring. There was so much fun games. Everyone was just so nice. We have brought two kayaks and some tubes. They had a more kayaks. They even have cat awards. We could use anything we need they were there to help us with us. Huge blowups in the water for the kids to play on , great fishing spots just a great camp loved it. Janice thank you so so much! We had so much fun we extended our trip!
The host was so kind and attentive! I would love to bring my family back there soon!

Fun little respite if your traveling through. They have everything you need and nothing you don't. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.
Awesome family owned friendly place. Owners are amazing and friendly they made me feel at home! Five stars this is. A great deal I recommend Mac’s camp to anybody. Also, the site faces the lake where the sun rises and it is absolutely gorgeous!
Swimming area and dock

We are from Vermont and it was super easy to get a campsite. My daughter, her husband and I stayed one night as we had to work the next day. We were able to check in early because I had messaged the folks at Mac's Camp Site about an hour away from arrival. I had added wood to my camp order and it was already there at the site and we were greeted upon arrival at the car. Very nice lady, super friendly. There was a swimming area which was pretty good as well. Bathroom and shower on premises. Portapotty, horseshoe pit, small playground area at campsite also. Was a small dock I could fish at if I wanted. Pretty sure they rent watercraft too. Recreation area with some games. They also send directions which makes it pretty easy to get there especially if you are from out of state. If you are looking for a small, quiet campsite that is easy on your wallet, and friendly people, I recommend Mac's Camp Site.

Lakeview 30amp Full Hookup Campsite
Mac’s camping was wonderful for our 36’ motorhome. Very quaint , quiet, and beautiful scenery. Very relaxing and so friendly. Great place to visit and stay. Carrie and Janice are very accommodating and have everything we needed.
