We are offering the opportunity to stay on the back hill of our ten-acre rural property. You can go for walks around the pasture on our mowed trail or just sit and enjoy the beautiful Minnesota views.
The site is on a gravel road and you cannot see our house from where the bus is parked. While you can see the neighbor's house, it is still very dark at night and excellent for stargazing.
The bus will be disabled for guests; it will not start or move. While there are electric fans, AC, and a TV with DVD player, there is no electricity available (bring your own generator if you want).
There is a cassette toilet with instructions.

We really enjoyed our stay. The chickens, goats, ducks, geese, and donkey were a fun addition and gave the campground a unique charm. Our campsite was private and secluded, making for a peaceful, quiet weekend. The artwork on the buildings was a wonderful touch that added to the campground's character. This was a peaceful escape that was an easy drive from the cities. Bryan was very helpful & responsive when we had some questions pop up. It was my first time taking a new camper out and we intentionally chose this location to practice all of the things with enough space & away from others. Be aware that there may be multiple other campers at the site. We were a bit surprised to see another camper already parked on the concrete pad so we opted a set up closer to the owner’s home. A 3rd camper pulled up shortly after us and set up on the other side of us. Other than that, we enjoyed the fire pit, and the beautiful lake & all of the birds. We would return for another easy escape from the city.

Great spot to camp fairly close to Minneapolis! The upper campground was private and easy to access. The goats and horses were really friendly and walked right up to us. There were a lot of ticks around so make sure to check yourself after you walk around.
If you want to use the lower campground closer to the water you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We had an incredibly good time! The property is beautiful. We were camped under a grove of trees and surrounded by farm fields. The surroundings were great because it kept a steady wind blowing through our site, which kept us nice and cool and free of bugs. It also gave us an amazing view of the area including a spectacular sunset.
Camping next to the goats was so much fun, I had no idea how much I'd love them! A couple of them are little escape artists and liked to wander over to our site which gave our dog some entertainment. He had an absolute blast as well, seeing a bunch of animals that he'd never seen before and being able to interact with them was a lot of fun for all of us. He's an elderly guy so these special moments mean the world to us.
Our hosts were awesome and I'm very grateful to them. They are so friendly and I loved BSing with them, learning about the animals, helping to wrangle and herd the goats, talking about music festivals, etc. Just had so much fun for the whole time we were there. I can't thank you two enough for the perfect little getaway.
I'm really happy we found this gem and can't wait to go back. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone! 10/10

I love the noise and atmosphere of a traditional campground but this was more of a soul break, quiet secluded space
I do recommend being an animal lover tho! The roosters, chickens, goats, geese horse and donkey oh and cats and dogs will check in on you, but it was a slice of joy you dont het at a traditional campground

It was the first weekend in April so it was cold and snowy. The campsites are well situated so they drain well. The beautiful trees, even without their leaves protected us from the wind. Two cats were running around and mostly kept their distance, we did find paw prints on my daughter’s air mattress when she woke up, she loved it.
We enjoyed the Pygmy goats, regular goats, and loved the wooly pig. We enjoyed time hiking through the woods and flying kites next to the corn field. The bathroom is in the basement
of the house with its own entrance and complete privacy. It was great. Travis met us when we arrived and showed us the property. He asked
Us what we needed and made sure we were taken care of. He was reachable if we needed anything, and gave us complete privacy. We bought a dozen eggs, and they were fantastic. My daughters were blown away by how good fresh eggs are. The whole atmosphere of a farm with old equipment and buildings was great. Property is very well kept. There are tons of open places to stand and enjoy the beautiful stars and no lights. We are planning on going back again.
