Welcome to Constellation Farmstead. We are a multi-faceted agritourism destination combining farming, homesteading and leisure. We are located in a quiet area of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
We currently have camping space available both for tents and camping with an RV.
We are a working farm and home to cows horses, pigs, chickens, a handful of ducks and some of the softest rabbits you will ever meet. We also have a pair of livestock guardian dogs as well as a couple cats, one of which spends much of his time outside.
By June we will have horseback trail rides available at $40/hour per person!
Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on your own or we are always happy to join. Our disc golf course is open year round with t pads and baskets! You can find the course on UDisc.
In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit.
For guests we have a community fire pit in our yard and host fires most nights that we have guests. We also have a sauna that we heat up many nights so feel to let us know if these things interest you. Private sauna is available for $10 for your group

120 acres of country paradise to use as your base camp for adventuring in the Keweenaw. 20 minutes from Houghton and 20 minutes from Baraga/L’Anse. Snowmobile and ATV trail #3 is just a short cruise down Donken-Tapiola Road. Furry friends are always welcome and are able to be off leash! Turtle Pond Site has an approx. 12x30 foot level gravel pad and a fire pit on a small pond frequented by turtles, ducks, deer, birds, and even an occasional beaver. There is a 100 year old Finnish Homestead a short walk down a mowed trail. Guests are encouraged to take a look, but please don't enter the buildings as their integrity is unknown.
We strive to continue to improve our property every year. This year, we are working to improve the pond health and its borders. An updated photo is included in our listing; but you may notice small differences as the property settles back after being disrupted during this improvement. We were able to maintain the privacy that guests compliment in our reviews while also clearing away unnecessary overgrowth.

We have two sites for your various camping styles. Our Apple Tree site accommodates tents only and our Lupine site accommodates tents, camper vans, pop up campers and toy haulers.

If you are looking for a campground that is private wilderness on a lake but full amenities, this is the place to go! Lots of all sizes, full hook ups, shower on site, clean, right on the lake, some sites with your own dock, quiet, family friendly, most of the site are level, and it’s a gated access!
I had site 23 which was not level, but very large with a clear view of the lake. For two woman and 2 dogs, this place was safe and friendly. Don’t forget your bug spray!
