This rustic site offers plenty of room to spread out, with space for multiple tents, convenient parking, and the privacy to truly relax and enjoy the outdoors. Fall asleep to the distant sound of Lake Superior’s waves and wake to the calls of sandhill cranes, songbirds, and frogs from the nearby wetlands. White-tailed deer are plentiful in the area and may even wander through while you’re enjoying your mornings around camp. When you’re ready to explore, beautiful Second Sand Beach is just a half-mile away, offering easy access to the shores of Lake Superior for swimming, beachcombing, sunsets, or a relaxing day by the water. This is a primitive camping experience for those who appreciate the simple things—towering trees, wildlife, fresh Lake Superior air, starry nights, and a peaceful place to unplug. Awesome Yooper stop over
The Little Slice
This was our first Hipcamp experience and it did not disappoint! Our host communication was great and they had the place all set up for us. We will definitely stay again!!!

Great cozy, little spot! The bar next door was perfect for dinner as well. Just be sure to pack your sleeping bags and bring extra pillows — especially for cold nights! Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The Little Slice
Loved staying in this camper! Very cosy with great amenities. Food was nearby and the place was easy to find. Great, responsive hosts as well! We really hope to stay here again
