This quaint cliffside camping spot is cozy and offers a phenomenal view of the sunrise over Lake Superior. It is large enough to accommodate most campers, RVs, and tents. With a shared fire pit, grill, and a pair of picnic tables, there is plenty of room for your whole family to enjoy! Guests also have access to a bathroom (with a double-headed shower!), a shared refrigerator, a laundry room, and a countertop area that is great for office work, with Wi-Fi available inside the building. 420-friendly.

Currently blocked off for the end of September. They have begun putting a new roof on and will reopen the dates asap. This quaint cliffside camping spot is cozy with a phenomenal view of the sunrise over Lake Superior. This building in over 124 years has been a stamp mill, Michigan Ballroom, Potato factory, a greenstone jewelry store and currently privately owned apartments. It is large enough for most campers and RVs as well as tents. With a SHARED fire pit, grill, and a pair of picnic tables one for each site to use. Sit back and enjoy the most amazing view and end the day with the stars and if you're lucky see the Northern Lights! 420 friendly. Towards the end of September estimated starting 9/14 we will be having a copper roof installed to improve the building that was built in 1902. During this time I have set it to confirm booking instead of instant. While it is still available, I don't want to inconvenience campers so I want to confirm if they will be working during times of the intended stay.

Superior Cliffside Sunrise Site 1
The hosts were a great combination of kind and chill. They walked us through where to set up and the amenities and then let us relax and enjoy ourselves. The campsite was spectacular. It was great having a view of the lake while for everything we did. We slept great listening to the waves at night. The highlight for me was waking up, opening my rainfly on the tent and watching the sunrise while staying warm in my sleeping bag.

Superior Cliffside Sunrise Site 1
Easy access to site and a great view of the lake! Perfect location for exploring the Upper Peninsula. It was cool learning the history of the historic building which is still being renovated. Hosts were generous and available.
