One of two private boondocking RV/camp sites available right across the street from the public Lake Superior Beach.
Maple Site sits on the corner of Maple Street and Lakeshore Drive only 100’ away from the beach path which has ADA compliant metals mats and a picnic table. You can hear the waves and watch the sunset over the dune on this site surrounded by woods and prairie grass. A mowed walking path also goes from the site to Lakeshore Drive.
Poplar Site sits on the corner of Poplar Street and Maple Street. This site is nestled between the prairie grass and woods and is a short walk either around the corner via road or through the path to the beach which is in sight only a 2 minute walk from your parking spot.
Enjoy a picnic table lunch or dinner on the path that overlooks the harbor break wall and Porcupine Mountains in one direction, and 14 Mile Point to the other. Sites are an 8 block walk or half mile drive to downtown Ontonagon. If water fill, showers, or dump site are needed, Ontonagon Township Campground is less than a mile down the road. Sites are mowed grass fields on solid ground. No fire pits in the campsite but fires are allowed on the beach, just please be respectful and tend to it and extinguish it once you are finished.

Welcome to Constellation Farmstead. We are a multi-faceted agritourism destination combining farming, homesteading and leisure. We are located in a quiet area of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
We currently have camping space available both for tents and camping with an RV.
We are a working farm and home to cows horses, pigs, chickens, a handful of ducks and some of the softest rabbits you will ever meet. We also have a pair of livestock guardian dogs as well as a couple cats, one of which spends much of his time outside.
By June we will have horseback trail rides available at $40/hour per person!
Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on your own or we are always happy to join. Our disc golf course is open year round with t pads and baskets! You can find the course on UDisc.
In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit.
For guests we have a community fire pit in our yard and host fires most nights that we have guests. We also have a sauna that we heat up many nights so feel to let us know if these things interest you. Private sauna is available for $10 for your group

120 acres of country paradise to use as your base camp for adventuring in the Keweenaw. 20 minutes from Houghton and 20 minutes from Baraga/L’Anse. Snowmobile and ATV trail #3 is just a short cruise down Donken-Tapiola Road. Furry friends are always welcome and are able to be off leash! Turtle Pond Site has an approx. 12x30 foot level gravel pad and a fire pit on a small pond frequented by turtles, ducks, deer, birds, and even an occasional beaver. There is a 100 year old Finnish Homestead a short walk down a mowed trail. Guests are encouraged to take a look, but please don't enter the buildings as their integrity is unknown.
We strive to continue to improve our property every year. This year, we are working to improve the pond health and its borders. An updated photo is included in our listing; but you may notice small differences as the property settles back after being disrupted during this improvement. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the smiling face of the Patron Saint of Goodwill and Love, Benevolent Eternal Queen of all who travel, seek, and Love, Dolly. And that's all I needed to know to be sure I was in the right place. Actually, this was after meeting with the hosts who showed me everything i needed to know, but my brain was fried after very long drive. They were patient with me. The RV is spacious and comfortable. (Zora- puppy) and I were able to have 3 guests without any issue. The couch is tricky to fold down and it is tippy if you sit on the edge, but it is surprisingly comfortable. windows really bring the outdoors in and the sound of rain is quite nice. The forest is a beautiful maple forest with mixed woods all around. The campsites aren't walk-in private, but they are pretty private and have good stands of trees in between them which helps. It made a comfy, no fuss base from which to explore the whole region and soak in fall beauty. I would not hesitate to book here again, in fact, i'm sure I will and I look forward to it. There is so much I didn't get to and would love to experience. I had hoped to take my puppy onto Lost lake IF it was sandy vs mud/mucky... it IS sandy, still didn't get to it. I would have liked to go 4 wheeling, didn't get to it. i would love to go snowmobiling then go into the wood fired sauna. ... maybe that's the next trip.

Once again, we had a wonderful time at Beach Camp. This is our favorite place on our favorite lake. The electric hookup for our small RV, the clean water source and the flush toilet make the comforts easy. The beach with constantly stunning views of Lake Superior and the changing sky above bring us joy! Doug and April are responsive and kind. Can't wait to go again next year!

Great spot to experience the shores of Lake Superior. CJ’s beachfront was of course the highlight of our stay, big area to left of boardwalk is very private. Mother Nature also graced us with a calm Superior during our stay so we were able to use the kayaks. Hiking the Porkies and able to see fall colors was a bonus. CJ very responsive and helpful to inquiries. Camp area with solar lights, fire ring and table are great touches. Looking forward to another visit to Bugwayji.

Beautiful site! Could barely see the owners or neighbors houses through the woods, so it felt very private. If you have a travel trailer, you’re going to want to back in so you can get your car out!

Convenient location and lots of amenities. Appreciated the porta potty, water jugs, and fire pit. Not sure where the advertised pond was, but we were only there for a quick night. Road noise was a little loud in a tent. A couple of dogs wandered through. One was from a neighboring tent site. Not sure about the other. We enjoyed our stay with our dog.
