Bliss Shores
Overall our stay worked out due to the owners not being home and allowing us to camp in their driveway, which is a very beautiful spot! However, we were expecting 92 acres further off grid - away from traffic and town. The land to camp on is about 1/4 acre of unkept grass just off the main high speed street. I believe this could have a more reasonable price per night considering we stayed at a campsite in copper harbor for $25 and had access to a bathroom, mountain bike trails and a shuttle. Beautiful area nonetheless!

Peaceful meadow campsite

Bliss Shores
We had a pleasant stay at Breanne’s Hipcamp site. It’s a lovely meadow with a stream beside it. It’s a rustic spot with no water or bathrooms but really beautiful in the late summer with views of the Portage Canal. While it’s not far off the road, it’s not a busy road and there was virtually no traffic overnight - just the sound of the water trickling down the hillside.

Beautiful view from our tent site right on the shoreline, gorgeous to wake up on the water! Great communication and directions. Wonderful hosts with exciting local recommendations. Very convenient distance to town. Would definitely stay again!
