Our home is a winter wonderland that can be enjoyed in all seasons. Almost 200 acres of mild to adventurous hiking in heavy wooded forest, but if you prefer an easy walk there are 30 acres of Balsam fir Christmas trees with a great view from any angle. This is a working tree farm that dates back to the 60s.
Park your camper or pop a tent at the top of our fields for a view of the Belfast Bay on a clear day. Or tuck into the trees beyond it for seclusion and shade.
Anywhere you camp is a great place to take in the fall colors of the Maples, Poplar, Oak and Birch in the surrounding woodlands.

Site was clean, roomy, quiet, and very private. There were ample trees around but a clear view of the sky for Starlink. Jane communicated with us in advance and made sure that we had clear directions to the site. We were visiting friends in Castine and this was a perfect home base for our visit.

my husband and i camped at the christmas tree farm for 2 nights while going to the common ground fair. it was convenient to be so close, and we had a lot of privacy and space. we enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner on our little stove top at the picnic table on top of this hill with a beautiful view of the fields and mountains. the sunrises and sunsets were absolutely divine and we slept under a bright blanket of stars! jesse was incredibly accommodating and helpful, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy our stay. our only challenge was finding a flat place to camp, but by the second night we found a spot that suited us well. i'd recommend arriving before nightfall to pick out an ideal flat camping spot if you're tent camping. cheers!

We stayed in site 1 and we loved the privacy of our site. It was spacious and had both sunny and shady areas. I was able to put my solar panels out to charge the battery and they got full sun. I also left them out for two days without worrying about them getting stolen or something. Jane was responsive, communicated with us as needed and met us on our arrival. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend Jane's place.

It was the perfect spot to camp for our bioluminescence kayak tour. It was very close to town but very quiet and in the country. Large site for our tent with a soft ground. Great, communicative host. We would definitely stay again.

LOVED my time spent here at Sublime! Jane and her husband were super cool! It was absolutely peaceful, clean and private! I drive 5 minutes to Wadsworth Cove Beach in the morning and also for a pretty sunset. The “downtown” is also about five minutes with two shops to get small bites and things. Loved it!! 💕🏕️

I had a great stay in Castine thanks to this Hipcamp! The hosts were friendly and easy to reach through the app. I stayed at site one which was great for a tent and a little more private than site 2 as it was surrounded by trees on three sides. Very simple setup. The two sites are basically attached to each other though so I was lucky to be the only one there during my stay. The campsite was clean and freshly mowed when I arrived. It was a little buggy when it wasn’t windy when I was there in June and the second day was windy so be sure to keep everything solidly in place. I brought a camp toilet but ended up preferring to just use the public restrooms in Castine. They’re open 24/7 with parking right outside the building and only 5-10 minutes down the road. I also often stopped at public restrooms at libraries, stores, or grocery stores while out and about.
Nearby I’d recommend coffee at bucklyn coffee in blue hill and you can fuel up and gas ice at their Hanford grocery stores while. The blue hill library is also fantastic and I picked up some used books about Maine there. The Stone fox ice cream truck down by the harbor was excellent and better servings than the dairy port imo.
I’d also highly recommend Castine kayak adventures (especially the bioluminescent paddle), Wadsworth cove beach and the lupine meadow nearby called “hatch cove preserve” at the turnoff for the beach which was in full bloom during my stay in June.

Lovely hosts. Welcomed us warmly. Noreaster rolled in the last night of our stay. Jane stayed in touch with us regularly. Site 1 is terrific, no one on site 2 during our stay. The site is all grass with picnic table and fire pit. Leveling our C class was easy. We would highly recommend.

We were looking for a quiet spot to spend a few days. This site 100% delivered!!! Beautiful view, not a soul in site, quiet, and clean!! The owners were wonderful, their beautiful (and energetic) English Setter came to visit while she was making her daily rounds, there was a stack of firewood ready to go, a picnic table, and a firepit. There are no hook-ups of any kind...which was fine by us...but be prepared. Perfect spot for solar panels as there is a clear, south facing, shot from east to west. Plenty of maneuvering room, too. I was easily able to come in, with our 27' travel trailer and full size truck, and turn around.

Great location on Castine peninsula. We arrived during mid season so the designated sites were closed, but the host allowed us to stay next to their barn. Quiet and pleasant. Awesome sunsets at Wadsworth Cove nearby.
