The Deets: We offer two (2) parking sites suitable for an RV or tow trailer no longer than 40' and no taller than 15'. There is a 50 AMP hookup, plus recently tested well water and newly re-piped septic. This site is down a 350+' private No Outlet drive with limited lighting, surrounded by a thicket of trees on all sides for total privacy and the serene quiet of forest life in Downeast Maine. While we are not yet set up for tent camping, stay tuned for when we open additional sites! The Good Stuff: On the property itself, we have 20+ acres to explore including a trail that begins* your trek up to the peak of Young Tunk Mountain. There, you can begin your day early and treat yourself to a brilliant glimpse of the first morning light in Sunrise County. Or, enjoy an evening of stargazing with beautiful clarity steps away from a blazing campfire with the opportunity for songs, stories, and laughter to last a lifetime. *Disclaimer: our private property line does not extend to the peak of Young Tunk Mountain. The site is very private and quiet. Mike is very helpful and ensured I always had fire wood readily available. I would definitely stay there again.

Really pretty spot with only two sites and full hookups on private land. It’s a little pricey but the host was friendly and helpful. The sites need a little more leveling for the price, but the host provided free firewood which MORE than made up for a little wiggling to get set up.

We really enjoyed our camping experience. We will definitely be back for a longer stay to explore the beautiful lakes in the area. The site is beautiful, private and very conveniently located. Michael met us on arrival and oriented us to the campsite.

Best. Hipcamp. Ever! Full hook ups and privacy with friendly hosts if you need help. Michael met us upon arrival and provided firewood and brochures to help us orient ourselves. We even got a second delivery of firewood later on during our stay! We spent about a week RV camping on Michael’s newly cleared and prepped private land. Cherryfield is a hidden gem and a pretty drive to Acadia, many local lakes to kayak/swim, hiking, Campobello/Canada, and of course— blueberry/antique/thrifting everywhere! If you love camping in amazing woods—this is the spot!! We had lots of fun and hope to visit again!! If you need a breakfast spot check out the Paisley Loon—amazing coffee 5 mins away :) If you have a big RV or small—you’ll fit—this spot is level with lots of room to maneuver. Well set up and cared for!!

Michael was extremely kind and gave us all the privacy we could ask for. His campsite is suited perfectly for any traveler with an RV or trailer. The water hook ups were clean and the electricity never quit! We’d come back for sure.

The site was nice and roomy. It is located in a secluded location but still close to small town restaurants and groceries, the coast and a short drive to Acadia National Park. The host was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The owners were very friendly and inviting. Michael also helped us get situated on the site when we first arrived, answering any questions. The site is very quiet and private. Full hookup easily within reach. Overall, a very relaxing weekend. Public boat launches and lakes and hiking trails all nearby. Enjoyed a hike up Tunk mountain. A great location for many activities.
