It was a great campsite!!! The camper was very clean and well set up. And it came with all of the supplies for a fire ans everything. Daniel is a super thoughtful and kind host and I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful spot right on the water. Our child loved waking up every morning and looking for crabs along the shore. Deer Isle and the surrounding area are wonderful to explore. Amenities like outhouse, firewood, and garbage can made things super easy! Kind host! We would love to return again! Thanks, Daniel!

Daniel and his land were both wonderful. I was mesmerized watching the tides ebb and flow in Greenlaw Cove.It is an incredible view, and very quiet. Daniel was helpful but unintrusive, leaving us to recharge. Towns of Deer Isle and Stonington are very authentic and interesting, with several Amazing restaurants.

I canât say enough about how beautiful Danâs place is! We didnât want to leave! Aside from the incredible view, the site is large and private. Dan stocked the site with firewood, and the outhouse was very clean with lights, toilet paper, and sanitizer provided. Itâs an awesome spot if youâre visiting Deer Isleâvery close to Nervous Nellieâs and Haystack School of Crafts if youâre into that. Thanks for having us!

This is a perfect spot for a quiet relaxing stay. The camping site is easy to get to and Daniel has added extra touches like the solar lights by the water and the new outhouse. We were also treated to a beautiful sunset.

A dream of a campsite located on a private peninsula! Daniel was great. He greeted us. Left us a pile of firewood and then left us alone. You will love this location. Photos do not do it justice!

We absolutely loved our stay at Nachos place!!! We went into the weekend expecting a miserably cold and wet camping experience. Instead Dan offered us to stay in his cozy and comfortable camper. Not only did Dan turn our weekend around with a warm dry place to sleep but he also had everything we could need! From water, to a grill and even a coffee maker. I highly recommend staying at Dans place! The location is great and the hospitality is even better đ thank you Dan!!!

Daniel was very nice, and the property was beautiful and hosted many birds, which made for peaceful moments. The weather shortened my trip, but I hope to revisit in the height of summer!
I recommend checking out Barred Island and Settlement Quarry areas when staying here.

I think the best way to describe how much we loved staying here is to say that we booked for one night and ended up staying 3, and we are already thinking about booking for next year.
Dan was so welcoming and accommodating. He opened his home to us; bathroom, showers, etc gave us loads of helpful advice about where to go and what to see, and was just an all around pleasure to chat to.
The spot we camped, next to the house was large and had a grill, fire pit, multiple chairs, and spots for parking and tents. The real selling point though is the absolutely incredible beach. The pictures donât do it justice. Itâs a beautiful private cove on the land. We took the dogs down every day to play on the rocks.
Location-wise it was perfect for us. Itâs literally across the road from Tennis preserve which we loved hiking, 2 minutes from Nervous Nellieâs, and less than 15 minutes from Sand beach, stonington, and everything else we wanted to see.

A very convenient location, with a large grassy area for a tent. Ok to drive your car right up to the site. Quiet and secluded, some traffic noise in the morning but mostly just birds in the woods. We loved the firepit - especially the dry wood and kindling provided by the host. Daniel was very friendly and helpful with excellent suggestions for dining in nearby Stonington (CryBabies really was superb). Facilities at the campsite were somewhat modest but functional, no complaints. Would visit again.

We had a great time staying at Nachos Place in Deer Isle, highly recommend staying here. Daniel is a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The kayak access cant be beat and Acadia is a easy 1 hr drive. Definitely will stay here again when we're back in Maine. We wish we of stayed here our whole trip! Thanks again Dan!!!

Daniel and Susan were exceptionally gracious hosts, welcoming us to their property. It had a picnic table and fire pit for meal prep and they generously providing anything else we needed; water, electric, lots of firewood and kindling, and a great kayak launch site on their property leading out to a stunning cove and islands. The Sunshine area is exceptionally beautiful and Deer Island and nearby town of Stonington one of the best places to visit on the Maine coast for a true Downeast experience without the crowds further south. And if you like to kayak there is no better place to do it in North America.
