Haymark Farm is a 285-acre farm in Ewing, KY, where alfalfa hay is produced. The farm has picturesque ridges and hills at one of the highest elevations in the area, allowing spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Three different branches of Buchanan creek begin on the farm and run together on the back of the property. There are also two small ponds and several barns (including one for your horses) on the property. A truck or SUV will have no issues, but cars are not advised. 4x4 is highly advised as the ground can get soft if it rains.

This is our favorite campsite! Views and privacy are incredible. Sunsets and star gazing galore. Our dogs love it. Great hookup, good water and pressure. Good communication with host. We will be back again in 2026.

This is a fabulous place! We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy it. Took advantage of the pond and caught a few varieties of fish. A bounty of nature all around- beautiful views of sunsets, farm animals, butterflies, fireflies and countryside. Site was secluded and private, pet friendly and our dog loved running around. He found some manure to roll around in 🤦‍♀️ so the full hook ups to hose him down came in handy. We took advantage of the fire pit/wood that was provided to enjoy a fire under the covered RV pavilion. Our 33ft trailer fit great and there was still plenty of space for seating area, grilling, etc. Hosts greeted us on arrival and we're welcoming and friendly. They communicated an issue with plumbing that was getting looked at and might require water shut off for short time, and let us know ahead of time to prepare if needed. If we are ever in this area again, we'd love to enjoy this place again.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets. Rolling green fields. You will probably be visited by some cattle as they wander and graze, along with an adorable herd of little goats. The drive way is long, winding and hilly but worth it to get back at the edge of the open fields. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Wow! It was a lovely experience Judy was amazing and my little brother really enjoyed the toy playroom and all the activities that he was able to do!!! We will definitely be back!! My only suggestions is to put out like a Howell Cattle Company sign because it was a little hard to find and if your taking directions to get there do them to Howell Cattle Company because it’ll take you directly there instead of the address recommended here (I don’t know if it was only our experience but the address provided here took us the wrong way)!

Weekend Trip to Family Farm Experience

For a family with small kids, this couldn’t have been a better setup! My kids(5 & 7 years old) got to hold baby animals, swim, jump on trampolines, play on playgrounds, and run around until their little legs just couldn’t run anymore. This area is so private, we just had a handful of other families camping so we didn’t have to stress about heavy traffic or people. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer, the true definition of southern hospitality. They brought us so many things, went and blew up some massive bounce houses for the kids to play in, and ran to town to get ice cream everyone. My kids are already begging to go back and we’ve only been home for a few hours 😂 They had blackstones, grills, a fridge and a great covered area to eat meals and hang out. The literal only thing I’d say is you are on a working farm, you will have some animal noise around while you’re sleeping, but with a white noise machine we had zero issue sleeping through it. We went fully expecting that, and my kids were so excited to see animals it was totally worth it.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay! We were hit by an unexpected snowstorm and were snowed in. They were very nice and accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for the sake of our safety to stay off the nasty roads! They even put together a very special request my fiancé had to surprise me upon arrival🥰 We will most definitely be back in the warmer months and highly recommend this wonderful cabin!!
