Perfect place for our first adventure camping in our Tesla! The large covered area was especially appreciated as it rained much of the time we were there. The hosts were very responsive when we called to report a downed tree was blocking access.

we loved the Savvy retreat, we laid in the hammock, sat on the swing and had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, it was very relaxing!! We played Frisbee golf!

This place is awesome! It was quiet and private. Christian & Christy really put a lot of effort in making sure their guests feel welcome and their needs are met. A+ communicators. Would definitely recommend checking it out and we will definitely be back. One of the coolest places I’ve ever had my camper for sure.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed and our hosts were very helpful with directions and offered help with anything we had need of. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was also very private. We will definitely return for another stay and would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys privacy, nature and all the amenities, including wifi, which was very reliable. This is the cleanest, safest, neatest, coolest camp I have ever stayed at. The amenities and time taken to make sure comforts and extras were in place was an Exceptional Effort and Much Appreciated. Fire ring, table, and space is a given...how about a swing, games, covered area for Rv and/or tent, full bathroom and shower setup, wood supply, kitchen table and grill, WATER AND ELECTRIC provided! Hammocks and dog runner...lost of apace! Superb!
Close enough to The Red River Gorge area and LOTS of hiking and adventure to be had.
Cannot give enough Thumbs Ups! Amazing! Already planning another trip in the fall!
Excellent host with clear and easy instructions!

Quiet and relaxing

I really enjoyed staying at this location. I went with my two dogs; Zuko and Tsavo. My boys absolutely loved the place. I was nervous at first because it was my second solo camping trip however the hosts were very responsive! The site was clean, easy to find, and I felt off grid- yet also reassured that there were others close by if I needed something. I seen two different types of owls! One was a barred owl and the other (who was as nosey about me as I was about them) was an Eastern Screech owl. I enjoyed listening to both species at night, they were very social and probably suspicious of me and my dogs. I enjoyed swinging by the firepit and reading my book. It was a much needed trip! Thank you both for sharing your space!

We were so happy to find this place. It was beautiful. The bathroom was clean, and we loved the hammock and fireplace. The pavilion provided perfect shelter from the rain. We look forward to coming back.

This was our very first experience with hipcamp and it was a fantastic one. Cristhian and Christy had everything perfectly set up and provided all you need for a great peaceful camping trip.... Well as peaceful as you can get with 3 boys and 3 good lol😜. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back if ever in the area. Thank you again for a great experience.

Savvy's Retreat was a fantastic campsite! It's well thought-out by campers for campers. The half bath was super handy when cooking outside and would be great if you had people visiting. There were plenty of outlets and lights in the shelter. Both the shelter and trees provided plenty of summer shade. The dog run was great to have, and they even had 3 tie-outs available! We travel with 3 larger dogs that like to bark at people, so crowded campgrounds are stressful for all of us. This setup allowed us all to relax outside together. Christian and Christy were on top of communication. This was truly a pleasant and well-thought-out space

Very Savvy Indeed

We loved the set up! Had water, electric, sewer and bathroom. Plus many extras, large fire pit and swing, card and board games plus in a very quiet rural area. It was close to Berea, Kentucky to hike The Pinnacles, Indian Fort Trail to Eagles Nest and Buzzard Landing with breath taking views when you get to the top. Grab a pizza at Apollo Pizza in Berea. Very tasty. Flat Lick Falls near McKee was constantly flowing. Pretty water hole that’s clear with some swimmers. Easy site to pull out and leave. The owners are attentive with any questions and maintain their cool with care. We will definitely be back

Tough to beat!

We had an incredible one-week stay here and could not have picked a better place. This site has everything you need and more, and the hosts were always available and quick to respond to any messages. We rarely saw anyone but did get a chance to meet a few neighbors who were so very nice to chat with! We hope to return here soon!

We pulled our A-liner tailer in just before dusk, after a long day of driving. We had no trouble getting hooked up to the power. We slowly but surely got oriented to the switches, lights, and bathroom comforts. We would have come back again on our way back to Minnesota from NC but you were booked.

This site was such a treat! The covered spot was very spacious and the bathroom was very clean. They trully though of everything. There was two hammocks, a swing, a line with two dog chains attatched, and even some board games to play. We will certainly stat at thos area again in the future!

Glamping With A Plus!!

We selected Cozy Camp as our first trip of the season - to get some much needed rest with all the comforts of home. The covered structure was a plus, having sewer is always an added bonus along with the extra bathroom! But the best thing about it all was the quiet, beautiful scenery! The trip was relaxing and out dogs loved the dog run!! We will definitely be back!!

Unique Stay that has Everything

Very unique spot. Every possible comfort you could ask for while having a large space all to yourself. Hosts were helpful and recommended a great local restaurant (Mammo D's). Very quiet single-lane road with few houses along the way. Good dog walking road. Definitely recommend Savvy's Retreat.

Beautiful property! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a peaceful weekend in our travel trailer. The location had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed several hiking trails in the area, grilled delicious meals under the large shelter, and relaxed by the fire with a perfect view of the stars. This location exceeded our expectations and the onsite bathroom was a bonus! We highly recommend this spot and will be back next fall!

One awesome, quiet, secluded site!

My 5 nights here were awesome! It's out in the woods on a curvy mountain road on the side of a hill with a level packed gravel site under a cover. The dead end road to it is 1 lane with few neighbors and is very peaceful. The covered site and the half bath were great. Absolutely the best Hipcamp out of the 7 I have stayed at for sure. Squirrels barking in the trees, and hoot owls at night, and a great firepit with wood......a great place to chill out and unwind! I will definitely be back next Spring with my Harley to ride the awesome twisty, curvy mountain roads in the area! I hiked Turkey Foot, West and East Pinnacle trails and Flat Rock trail. It's 20 minutes to Berea with many places to shop and eat.
