16 ft Class B · With pets · We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed how secluded this campsite felt. It had more of a true tent-camping atmosphere than a typical RV campground, which was exactly what we were looking for. The site included a picnic table and fire pit, and there was plenty of firewood nearby, making it easy to enjoy evenings around the fire. Rhonda was also an excellent host- she was responsive, communicated well, and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly.
A few things to keep in mind before booking: the bugs can be pretty active at night, so come prepared with bug spray. The road into the campsite is long, winding, and somewhat off-road, which we actually enjoyed because it added to the remote feel. However, lower clearance vehicles may have some difficulty, and a 4x4 could be beneficial depending on conditions. The campsite itself is a narrow back-in site; we managed with our 16 foot travel trailer, but larger rigs may find it challenging.
Overall, this is a great spot for campers looking for privacy, a rustic experience, and a host who genuinely cares about her guests.
