The neighborhood is a lush subtropical paradise with the beach, historic sites of interest, and seafood restaurants with laguna views all within walking and biking distance along paved trails. The site is nicely set aside and graded with water and electrical services and a canopy of live oak lot by accent lights. Pretty magical, really.

The property was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay on Ponce. We did a lot of camping while we were in Florida and this was one of the best spots. The lights on the property are a wonderful touch and make it super easy at night. You are right next to the house but we were at the beach and out to eat for most of the day so privacy was not a concern for us.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the farm! Margarita and Rob were very kind and welcoming. Setting up our travel trailer was super easy. I loved meeting and learning about the animals - highland cows, mini donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. Even got to hold one of the baby goats! We'll definitely be back again and plan to get our eggs from them moving forward. Would highly recommend!

What a magical property!!! We couldn't get enough of the live oaks and beautiful palms drawing a perimeter around the backyard. The fire pit and the outdoor shower gave us a much needed respite on our van trip south. The twinkly lights at night were so vibey - we just had the best time here. Couple tips for travelers: - The property is bordered by roads, so there is some road noise. It was worth it for the beautiful yard tho. - bring your own wood (there was wood on the property for us but it was wet) - if you want to bring dogs to the beach, you can only go to little dog beach on the southern tip of the inlet. It's a small beach and popular - so if your dog isn't great with others, you'll need to go elsewhere. We found a great stretch of beach which we could go with our lil monster: park for free at Andy Romano Beachfront Park, and walk north along the beach.

The natural beauty of the site along with the meticulous landscaping, lighting and it's maintenance made for a fabulous stopover. It is as advertised or better. Located in very quite neighborhood setting. We took a the back path to the nearby restaurant, sat fireside and really enjoyed our stay. The Hosts are gracious, great communicators and on point. Our best Hipcamp or similar app site we've experienced in our over three years of van travels.

The location was awesome, we spent a day at Bok Tower, and afternoon naps on the hammocks overlooking the lake. Oh, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets over the beautiful lake. Our site was tight, but not a problem for us. Bath house was very nice.

We spent 3 nights at Quiet Pasture. I highly recommend this place. We had a fun time visiting with the Scottish Highlanders, donkeys, goats, and chickens. Margarita was very welcoming. The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.
