Guests can also rent out multiple sites if they’d like to gather with extended family or friends. It’s an ideal setting to connect and unwind together while still having your own space.
At night, sit by the fire and take in the stars. Our location has Class 4 Bortle skies, making it a great spot for stargazing, telescopes, or astrophotography.
Please note that horseback riding is not allowed on the property, but there are plenty of nearby trails to explore during the day. Grassy Springs is the perfect spot to relax with your animals and enjoy the simple rhythm of life on a working farm.

We had a great time at the Nest. Very relaxing and peaceful and plenty of room for our big dog. We saw a coral snake so definitely watch your fur babies but what else do you expect in the woods!

I loved the privacy of this beautiful spot. Being able to pull in and be undercover and simply plug-in was a luxury. Having the place all to myself, seeing the deer and the stars late at night made for a peaceful respite. Walked the trail on the property in the afternoon and simply relaxed. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at THE NEST. This property is easy to get to and easy to park & set up. It has a nice picnic table and the area has grass and is private. They have cleared enough trees that it has privacy & shade. The host has internet, water & electric. The host, Clare was wonderful. I would recommend this property if you want a nice relaxing get away.

We stayed here for two nights and Clare was very responsive to my questions. The property was very nice with plenty of room for our 35 foot rv. Theres was water and electric and pretty level. We saw alot of wildlife and it was very private. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. It was so much better then the crowded rv parks, you have an acre of land all to yourself. Thankyou and I highly recommend!

We had a great stay! As full timers we find ourselves at rv campgrounds a lot - it was such a treat to have our own place to stay. This site is the definition of private. Tucked away on backroads and completely surrounded by woods. Roads are not paved but were in great condition and we had no issues. Hosts Vince and Haylie provided clear directions to find the site, and the entrance is protected by a gate. The tree lined driveway leads back to the wonderful pole barn that we thoroughly enjoyed. Full hookups a major plus. Wonderful stay, one of our favorite Hipcamp’s, would recommend to anyone!

Paws and Ponies #1 is an absolute gem. From the moment I arrived I felt at home in the beautiful setting and the peacefulness of the campsite. The scenery was tunning and at night the clear skies provided an incredible view of the stars and planets. One of the highlights for me was how pet-friendly the site was. The hosts are definitely "pet" people. The space for my dog was perfect and gave him plenty of room to explore and be "off leash" safely. It is clear that a lot of thought went into making this a great spot for humans and their four legged companions. I will be going back to this HICAMP.
