The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! For those looking to immerse themselves in the outdoors, we offer primitive campsites where you can choose your own spot—whether it’s by the pond, under the oak trees, or nestled near the bamboo grove.
For RV travelers, we have a 30AMP hookup site with water access located just behind the main house. While this site doesn’t include sewage, you’ll have access to a fully renovated communal bathroom complete with a toilet and bathtub.
The sanctuary features unique spaces to inspire creativity, such as:
• A peaceful on-site pond with fish.
• Open fields for writing, painting, or meditating.
• Large canopies for art and music activities.
We also provide a selection of rentable musical instruments, including a piano, keyboard, cello, and guitar, to help bring your artistic visions to life.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! For RV travelers, we have a 30AMP hookup site with water access located just behind the main house. While this site doesn’t include sewage, you’ll have access to a fully renovated communal bathroom complete with a toilet and bathtub.
The sanctuary features unique spaces to inspire creativity, such as:
• A peaceful on-site pond with fish.
• Open fields for writing, painting, or meditating.
• Large canopies for art and music activities.
We also provide a selection of rentable musical instruments, including a piano, keyboard, cello, and guitar, to help bring your artistic visions to life.

Currently the property is raw land. With very little touch of man. It is in an old country neighborhood that touches a newer neighborhood with plenty of dining choices.
There is a natural unkept pond with mucky dark water that has Lilly pads.
There are parts of the Econ river that rise and lower with the seasons.
There may or may not be chickens running the property.
There are fallen trees and overgrown areas. There are some internal fences with gates we are working to remove or restructure.
There is parking for off grid rvs. No amenities are offered currently.

We enjoyed camping here! It was a quiet neighborhood and the camp spot was private. Though water is available, we had issues with our water system in our truck bed camper and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower. Super close to see a rocket launch, which is why we visited! Drew was great and helped us park, got us all hooked up, and answered any questions and gave us local tips. We missed the tortoises this visit but hope to see them the next time we stay!

This was one of the best experiences we ever had camping here . Big thanks to James who met up with us upon arrival and was very informative and polite . The atmosphere was wonderful where we felt safe and had amazing additional options as add ons in case we missed anything else . We will definitely be coming here again . I will definitely recommend this place to anyone . Loved the fact we had a fire pit next to where we put up our tent and James brought us the firewood we requested as an add on . It was definitely a peaceful night . Thanks again James and your team for having us !

Had an amazing stay with my husband and 2 girls. Perfect ending to my daughter’s spring break. Also loved exploring the city of Clermont. Such a cute downtown area, and farmers market on Sunday.
Definitely would recommend this experience to anyone interested in a peaceful and fun little getaway. Hosts were very accommodating and even had a stand near the entrance where you can buy some treats or products.
Cannot wait to come back hopefully this is me and my family’s new spring time tradition.

This was the best camping I’ve done in a while. Beautiful place, nice staff and clean bathrooms. The owner took us on the UTV tour, he’s very nice and funny. The animals were so much fun to feed and see them freely grazing and walking around. We’ll definitely be back.

It has a shower and a bathroom that is very nice and new looks like. This camp is very reasonable on price for what you're looking for.

I loved camping on Sam’s land. The site we had (#5) was very private with a fence between it and the next site. There was a wonderful outdoor real bathroom and a terrific outdoor shower. There was water on the site and I think there may be electric soon. There was a great fire pit.
This was the best Hip Camp we have ever been to by far! If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here. It is very close to Mt. Dora, a lovely, interesting town.
