We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Collins Farm is conveniently located 20 minutes south of Gainesville, right off of 441. OR 30 minutes north of Ocala, off of interstate 75. Quick on and off highway, less than 5 miles from exit 384. Private, peaceful camping is available with full RV hook-up that includes sewer, 50 amp electric with a 30 amp adapter, and water. Your campsite is located right in the heart of our farm. While at your site, you will see and surely be entertained by our goats, sheep, horse, Charlie and Dottie Mae our Kunekune pigs, chickens, Eduardo our turkey, and many more. The wildlife that you see is dependent on the season but likely includes deer, sand cranes, and the occasional bald eagles. Pets are welcome. We just ask for the safety of our farm friends that they stay on a leash. A fire pit and picnic table is at each site. We also include animal feed so you can feed the animals through the fence at your leisure. We kindly ask that you only feed them their feed and no other feed to ensure their health. For those needing grocery delivery. Instacart and Shipt delivers to Collins Farm on a regular basis. The historic town of Micanopy is just a few minutes' drive from Collins Farm and offers antique shopping, restaurants, unique gift shops, and entertainment. Paynes Prarie Preserve State Park is also within a few miles and offers hiking trails and wildlife sightseeing. There is also trails for horseback riding within two miles of Collins Farm.

There is soo much history about the Suwannee River in North Florida! :D It is known that Indians once traveled along these banks and proof has been found from many Arrow Heads and other artifacts being found along the Suwannee River. There are many Springs along the over 240 miles of River as it empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The Suwannee River begins it's journey in the Okefenokee Swamp in South Georgia. This is a great place for children and rv camping. Lots of toys, cars, and trucks for the kids to play with. The St. Mary's river borders the property and is accessible for wading, swimming, and fishing. The property itself is very nice with some secluded spots if you want to do some primitive tent camping. There are port-o-let style toilets with a sink and access to potable water.

Great location for a weekend camp. We were in a 23' TT and used the 30 amp service and water with no problems. CG is clean and stocked with toys to keep the grandkids busy. St Mary's was VERY low water. No paddling this weekend. Will definitely be back. Great job M ! Happy Campers

What a beautiful, peaceful welcoming place & Host. We were greated by Sasha, Max a little princess. William came out and chatted with us and showed us all around his beautiful property. Full hookups, a beautiful Bathroom & Shower and washer and dryer area along with table. We had a nice picnic table and a big fire ring which we did use. William has beautiful fruit trees and a garden with chickens.. so cute. The fruit was delicious. We enjoyed cheese & crackers and drinks with William around the campfire and wonderful conversation. Very quiet and the pine trees were so pretty. We wish we could have stayed longer and in the future we will. This was one of our favorite places to stay. A must visit place. :)

This was an amazing little gem! The owners were amazing! They greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around the property! They checked in on us throughout our stay and provided some extra firewood as we needed it! There were chickens running around and we were able to have fresh eggs in the mornings! We were able to set up a tent to accommodate some extra guests and we brought our pup who loved the property! We made some incredible meals and the camper has all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasonings you need! They also left us stuff to make s’mores! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the bathroom was surprisingly clean! We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Camp 4A! The property is beautiful — peaceful, private, and surrounded by wildlife. We saw so many deer and wild turkey throughout the neighborhood! Mike was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Our only downside was that the dock was broken during our visit and the riverbank was mostly slick limestone, which made it tough to get in and out for swimming. However, there’s a gorgeous park less than a ten-minute walk away where you can access the river easily for a dip! Firewood available onsite for a reasonable price was also a bonus!

This site is very clean & well maintained. Good signage, easy to find, great hookups. Will was very welcoming. We were in a bind because we had generator issues that slowed our trip down & the Hipcamp we had reserved said they would not accept us. Will had no problem with a late check in & had the light on for us upon arrival at 11:30pm! Also great communication with host. Spot was very peaceful & quiet. We were only passing through but definitely a place to come back and just hang out because it's easy to get to & so nice. Will definitely go back! Thanks Will!

What a wonderful place tucked away next to the bay. Our host was very helpful and nice. 2 Adults and 3 kids stayed in both of the glamping tents. The camping experience by far was even more pleasant than we had imagined. Navarre beach and a several night at here will be something we do again. Bring your kayaks and explore the East Bay river. What a treasure!

Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment.  Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

We have two RV sites and a 40ft Luxury Montana Trailer, all featuring 50-30-20 electrical hookups, full water and sewer, and there is a private gate into the campsites off of Beach Road! Bikes and golf carts are welcomed in the community, and there's a 3-mile bike path and walking path to the beaches and other islands. This part of the Florida gulf coast is known for great redfish & trout fishing, and the best scalloping on the Gulf of Mexico! Bring your boat, we're only 3 miles from Keaton Beach Boat Ramp, and only about 1 mile from Dark Island Boat Ramp. Check out Roy's restaurant for a beautiful sunset dinner on the river, only about a 20 minute drive away in sleepy Steinhatchee. Enjoy the charms of small town Florida and escape from the sounds and stresses of the city!

BCRV is a family-owned 52-site RV Park just north of the Emerald Coast, located in a quiet location within driving distance of Destin, Miramar Beach, Sandestin and Freeport dining, shopping, and beaches. We're a park and go and offer all the basic necessities in a very quiet forest location, but we're still just north of all of the popular beaches. It's run by me, my wife, my son, and our new little puppy Ollie (he's the most important.) There's a grocery store nearby, and all RV types up to 45ft are welcome here, with 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups available. Water, sewer, trash, electric, and wifi are all included at no additional charge. Doordash is available, and Hungry Howies Pizza also delivers to us if you're not feeling like cooking. Every site has a picnic table and fire pit, and Firewood, Propane, and Laundry facilities are also available on-site for you to purchase or pay for as well. We do NOT have public restrooms. Primitive camping and popups with no restrooms are currently not allowed. Weekly and Monthly discount rates are also available if you go directly to my website and book there. The discount is applied automatically at checkout. When booking your site, please be aware that the site numbers on Hipcamp may not be accurate to the sites you'll be using in the park. All sites offer the same amenities, and I try to put everyone in a site that works best for their needs and RV size. If there's a specific site that you fancy when you arrive, we're happy to make adjustments for you if it's available.
