Enjoy 10 acres of country, surrounded by wonderful Florida wildlife, in close proximity to a growing, thriving city life, and beaches. We have 10 acres completely fenced in, with a swimming hole to swim or kayak on. We are near St. Cloud, Lake Nona, Orlando, Melbourne, Chisholm Park, and Split Oak Mitigation and Preserve. 40 minutes from Disney, Universal studios, and Melbourne beach. 7 mile drive to Walmart, gas stations, Lowes, Sam's and tons of restaurants. We are in east St. Cloud., South of Orlando. There is a fish mailbox and a long drive way. The gate is closed most of the time, please close it behind you if it was closed, and leave open if it was open. You are welcome to go directly to the site and set up however you like. It is most important to check in during the light of day as we are quite secluded and it can be very dark. Please respect the peace and safety of us as well as our other guests that may be staying at the property. Enjoy yourself !

Please keep in mind that if you are brining a van or truck camper the maximum length we can accommodate is 20 ft. We do not have any hookups at this time so you will be dry camping or tent camping only. The surface of the sites is grassy and does need some leveling if you’re in a van. Beautiful Private Premium Site 45' (phase III) at the River Ranch RV Resort. Awesome tropical palms, double pad, good shade with an amazing native tree, firepit, picninc table, 2 swings chairs and a wood bench. The site has water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp and cable tv. River Ranch has a direct outlet to the Kissimmee River which is known for some of the best bass fishing in Florida and where many tournaments are held. U.S. Skeet and Shoot World competitions were also held at River Ranch. Perhaps the best known fact about River Ranch is that it holds the record for the longest operating rodeo in Florida. Many local and national champions perform here on a weekly basis. Tater Porter who lives in nearby Kennansville is a world champion Bull Rider. Also, The Saloon which was originally built in Texas in 1918 continues to be a favorite hot spot! Enjoy your stay at River Ranch! Our campsites are located inside of the River Ranch Property Owners Association therefore you MUST already be a member in order to book the property or gain access through the front gate. Our entire property is 2.5 acres and the campsites are located on .65 acres across the road. Our site is the location of a future food forest therefore we have planted several fruit trees on both properties which we hope our guests enjoy throughout the year. Each site is just under a quarter acre and can accommodate a trailer or two tents as well as room for a car/truck with an ATV/UTV trailer. The shared common area is home to oak shade trees, a picnic table and burn barrel. For complete access to the entire .65 acres, please reserve both sites.

Among the pines and palms, you will begin to spot young fruit trees and other edible plants. Please note that this property is a work in progress and the satellite images do not reflect the current state of the project. Once you have booked, please follow the directions provided as your GPS will not bring you here. About the property Our property is home to a variety of birds and animals like hawks, eagles, owls, kites, turkeys, raccoons, bobcats, and snakes. Come enjoy some fresh air and the chance to see the beginnings of what we hope will one day provide food and peace to many. While staying with us you can opt to take a guided food forest tour, as well as take the opportunity to help with or observe current projects going on at the farm. You can also enjoy swimming on-site. Offsite you can head nearby to enjoy swimming, walking, fishing, boating, live music, restaurants. We are only 10 minutes from Fellsmere and 20 minutes from Sebastian. There are plenty of parks and fishing spots nearby as well as the beach so there is always something to do within a 10-45 minute drive. Your hosts live onsite and we will plan to greet campers and give a brief tour, as this is a growing food forest there may be areas that are sensitive to foot traffic. Our favorite things about this property are the amazing skies both at dawn and dusk, as well as night stargazing. We have great birdwatching as well. Please reach out at any time with questions or concerns. About the listing Our listing is for a campsite that accommodates tents or an RV or camper van up to 45ft. If you do bring a camper keep in mind our sites are pull in only with no hookups (dry camping) and they will require some leveling. Generators are also not allowed. Amenities listed below: -There is a shared fire pit available -There is potable water via a spigot -Good cell service for most carriers, no wifi -Shared composting toilet onsite -Pets are allowed -Wheelchair access is possible Additional details to note Please check in at least 2 hours before sunset so that you can can find the toilet and know where the sensitive growing areas are. Please plan ahead. Check in is after 11am and check out is before 11am. Please no wandering from the campsites after dark, so that no protected plants are stepped on accidentally. Pets must be kept under control so they do not destroy garden and food forest areas. Pets will have to be leashed at the first sign of destructive behavior, no exceptions. All garbage created must be packed out. Please remember to bring a flashlight or headlamp for use after dark.
