This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!
Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.

On site is our own Bistro Barn fully furnished with a refrigerator, gas grill, charcoal grill, silverware and all the pots and pans you may be looking for. It's a great little hang out area with bluetooth speaker setup.
Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, a hammock, and a swing chair.
The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water.
During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there.
Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too.
There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside.
Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River.
We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year.
Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's.
We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River!

Runaway Bay Lodge is the first private property past The Pine Island RV Campground, on the right side of the street.

We have 4 separate units on our property, including 2 cabins and 4 yurts, Each cabin and yurt is set up with only one bed, in each. We are a perfect spot for solo journeyers and couples. Larger groups can rent multiple units. We also host 3rd party retreats for up to 18 total guests.
Not all campsites have water views, from the units, but none are more than 30 feet to the water…
We do allow cannabis smoking on our property, in the common areas outside of the tents and cabins.
We offer our exclusive holistic services and Yoga, Plant Based Vegan, Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Meal Options, Energy work and other holistic well-being services, Small Group Retreats, Boat Tours and Boat Rentals.

This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!
Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.

Welcome to the Scramble On Inn! An "Old Florida" vibe in Florida's Manatee Capitol of Crystal River. The property is private, yet just minutes from stores, restaurants and the water.
The cabin is located on private property with owners and security on site, yet plenty of privacy.
Your cabin is fully supplied with bedding, towels, refrigerator, coffee pot, cups and silverware, AC in the summer months, and an electric fireplace in the wintertime.
On site is our own Bistro Barn fully furnished with a refrigerator, gas grill, charcoal grill, silverware and all the pots and pans you may be looking for. It's a great little hang out area with bluetooth speaker setup.
Outside you will find a firepit as well as a charcoal grill, a table for eating, a hammock, and a swing chair.
The outside shower house is on the primitive side and made for the adventure type. It is equipped with a portable toilet and shower under the stars. It is hooked up with instant hot water.
During the day, paddle your way to the beautiful Three Sisters Springs for a swim. You may see some manatee or dolphins on your way there.
Hunter Springs is a great little park with a beach area for swimming and kayak rentals too.
There are also several Diving with the Manatee tours available. One we suggest in town is Fun2Dive. These are all only a short drive away.
You can enjoy swimming, fishing, scalloping, snorkeling, kayaking, pontooning just five minutes away, or just relaxing back at camp fireside.
Heritage Village is in town filled with many hometown eateries and shoppes. It's a great way to spend the afternoon and explore downtown Crystal River.
We have a variety of great one-of-a-kind eateries with many special events and festivals throughout the year.
Conveniently located at the end of the street is a Publix, DG, a Mexican restaurant, and Beef O'Brady's.
We also have brochures on all kinds of other great places you'll want to experience while staying in beautiful Crystal River!
Oh, and don't forget to stop by Grandma's gift shop before you leave.

We had such a great time! The set up is so nice and romantic! Bed was so comfy and warm, especially after camping for several days. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Very cute dog 😉 would highly recommend! Great location also. We went to Crystal river and it took 40 mins and I believe weeki wachee is even closer

The land is perfect for country cottage vibes.
Collecting fresh eggs from the Hens every morning was a bonus. The cottage my husband and I rented was adorable, quaint, immaculate, had All kinds of appliances fully equipped and decorated kitchen necessities, toiletries, nick nacks, firewood and the s’mores kit was awesome! I especially enjoyed the birthday welcome note /card and tokens for our stay! Cassandra and Walt came by to greet us for our stay and we’re wonderful hosts. We plan on renting each unit until we make it around the property! What I enjoyed about our stay is it’s close to our home but far enough to feel like a hidden gem . We had a little glamping, camping and rustic tranquil vibes. The outdoor shower was so peaceful after going for a walk /run near the wood trails. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We loved the cabin. Very cute, very simple. The host was responsive and helpful. We used the fire pit, the space heaters, and all the cooking supplies. It was quiet and restful at night. The mattresses can be a bit tough if you have back issues, that’s really the only drawback.

Staying here was our favorite part of the trip! Great location, great eggs, awesome to see the chickens and we LOVED Calcifer! The friendliest cat, he hung out with us the entire time and really helped with us missing our cat back home! We had some eggs in the morning that we picked and washed ourselves! Okay, you may think these two guys and Lucky U are too good to be true by the sound of this and other reviews but they are not! This was the best HipCamp or other campground we have EVER stayed at! We used the camper because the weather was cold, and loved it but would also come back and tent camp because of all the amenities! They have thought of everything…. Clean toilets, hot showers, a shared kitchen, even hot cocoa, coffee and mints. Fire pits with wood starters and wood, tables with tablecloths and campsites that are really spread out! The horses and donkeys come to share morning coffee with you and Rob/Mike take you on a leisurely farm tour with ample time for goat/pig/dog cuddling :) The best part of the place however, are the hosts themselves Their passion and enthusiasm for all creatures ( even is humans) is so evident. We wanted to move on with them! Their staff and they keep the place spotless…. Cannot brag on this place enough! There is SO much to do in the area, we went swimming with the manatees, kayaking on crystal clear rivers, hiking…..
but even if there was nothing at all to do…. Lucky U is worth the trip alone!!! They are not charging enough….. better than most Air B N Bs than we have been to!!!

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm
This my second time staying here and will definitely not be my last. My wife, two teenage children and two dogs loved every minute of our stay. The weather didn't cooperate on Sunday, cold and rainy, but the campers were clean and warm and we spent hours just playing card. The hospitality from our hosts was outstanding, they even delivered dry wood after the rain. We will all definitely come back.

The camper had absolutely everything we could need and more and Cassandra and her husband were so nice and attentive . Rob & Mike are exquisite human beings, who devote more love and attention to their campers, than many people do their children. We came with an over worked dad, two moms with way too much on their plates, and three stressed out teens. Within a few hours of being on this beautifully property surrounded by loving, affectionate animals, everyone was healing and happy. The RV and camp site was perfection. The “Pavilion” had everything a hotel guest could ever want. Coffee, towels, cute signs, and tons of personal attention were just the beginning of what these dedicated hosts offer their guests. Because of our busy schedule, they rearranged their busy schedules to accommodate us and gave us the chance to meet and love their amazing farm and animals. We loved the peaceful setting, the mass of stars overhead, the fact that we didn’t have to bring anything but ourselves and our food, and the precious visits by the horses and the donkey. Lucky U Ranch was more effective in healing, resetting, and bringing our family joy and peace, than spending thousands of dollars on therapy, and it did it 24 hours of time! We love these hosts and the sanctuary they have created for all those who need it! 🥰❤️😘
