Note that the ranch is up for sale, so we are only accepting reservations 2 months in advance (this window will continue to change, and we will stay open until we move). We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you don't have your own RV, you can rent one from Ray Day's RV Rentals, which is literally around the corner.

Privacy and country comforts, yet 3 miles from the I-75 exit. Grocery and restaurants nearby as well. There is a stable and 2 cross-fenced paddocks for grazing. An RV site with 30A power, water and sewer hookups, but no separate restroom available fo the RV site. We also added a fully-covered RV site that is 50' deep with 50A power, sewer and water hookups. A one room cabin with a queen bed is also available with a separate full bathroom. Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.
If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

My wife and I stayed at Honey Bee Ranch for 3 nights with our RV and really enjoyed it. We found the site through Hipcamp and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a few days.
It’s a nice, quiet spot where you can actually relax and enjoy being away from everything. We liked the laid-back atmosphere and the fact that it felt more like staying somewhere unique than just pulling into an RV park.
We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Thanks to Honey Bee Ranch for having us!

My family and I had such a great stay at Teresa’s! She was amazingly kind and welcoming to my eight year old and the whole area was such fun. My daughter loved the rope swing and barn for relaxing and playing games.
We will def come again and bring friends and family. This would be a fantastic place to rent for a small group. We stayed in the trailer but it’s so beautiful and safe that a tent camp would also be great!

We Love this place ao much, An excellent place to camp—it’s quiet, and when you wake up, you see donkeys, horses, and deer. The bathrooms are something else—I absolutely loved them. Rob and Mike are great hosts; they meet you at the entrance, guide you to your spot, and explain everything. Plus, they have lovely little items for sale. If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the best one.

I visited this gem with my mom on the first of many RV adventures. All the reviews about the amazing hosts are absolutely true. You will not find more wonderful people. The plot of land is so beautiful, soulful, thoughtful. We ate fresh eggs for breakfast, made s’mores with other visitors while they played guitar around the campfire. I mean the barn has a punching bag and a drumset… for the WIN, seriously. We visited the gorgeous local parks. Went to Twisted Oak for a beer (the place is five stars-so cool). I just can’t say enough good things. I loved it here. Magic.

She and her sister made me feel right at home and so comfortable! They went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful for them! We stayed in our RV at one of their two RV spots....its was great. This was easily the quietest and most serene spot we've ever camped. If you are looking to get away from any signs or sounds of humanity, this is your place. Mike & Rob were great and they offered a tour of the property and introduced us to all of their livestock. What a great experience....would highly recommend.

Great spot, very nice amenities and people. We woke up to donkeys in our camping spot, loved it! It stormed pretty badly so we didn’t get to camp much outside of the car, but they were very nice to inform us of weather warnings sent out by the county.
