We have cows and donkeys on the property that are very social along with our wild residents including deer, turkey, fox squirrels, hawks, owls, bunny's, bees and more. We have a 6 full hook-up campsites for a unique boutique camping experience. There is a community campfire pit and Indian circle if you are feeling social. We also have 6 acres to hike and explore in "The Wild". The trails meander alongside the creek, through the pines and under oaks. The entire property can be explored and you are welcome to picnic under the oaks. We have a main barn where we host occasional events and retreats. Our property is a stunning mixture of pasture land, pine groves, mature oaks and Florida wilderness.
We are located 5 minutes from historic downtown Brooksville and 20-30 minutes from us you can find amazing springs, beaches, ATV off-roading trails, hiking and one of the best treetop rope courses in the country.

Note that the ranch is up for sale, so we are only accepting reservations 2 months in advance (this window will continue to change, and we will stay open until we move). We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you don't have your own RV, you can rent one from Ray Day's RV Rentals, which is literally around the corner.

Privacy and country comforts, yet 3 miles from the I-75 exit. Grocery and restaurants nearby as well. There is a stable and 2 cross-fenced paddocks for grazing. An RV site with 30A power, water and sewer hookups, but no separate restroom available fo the RV site. We also added a fully-covered RV site that is 50' deep with 50A power, sewer and water hookups. A one room cabin with a queen bed is also available with a separate full bathroom. Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.
If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

We can't recommend staying at Lucky U Ranch enough! We booked their RV option for a group of 5 and had ample space. We happened to book at the same time as a very large group, so they were kind enough to move us to an area with a little more privacy. Any questions we had were promptly answered, with Mike and Rob going so far as offering driving to get additional items for us! We had an issue getting our oven to work, so they had a nearby staff member, Kim, come and help us. She was so kind and accommodating with us, a true rockstar. The animals and land are very obviously well cared for and loved, and we had an absolute blast doing the ranch tour. We also enjoyed exploring the 3 different trails they have :) The pavilion with showers, toilets, and an outdoor kitchen for the tent camping area was well maintained, and some of our group actually chose using those facilities over the one in the RV as it was so comparable. Our group had the same consensus leaving- we had the most amazing and relaxing trip ever, and it was all due to the great care the hosts put into the experience!

Teresa is a wonderful host and a good friend. She’s very kind and helpful. She knows the area and gave good suggestions for fun activities. She has a handful of outdoor toys for the guests to use like paddle boards, floaties, and e-bikes (which were my son’s favorite). The trailer we stayed in was nice, cool, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in Florida.

We had a blast this past weekend staying at the Lucky U Ranch! Mike and Rob are absolutely incredible and amazing hosts. They have thought of everything possible for every camper’s needs in a campground~ attention and care is placed into every detail. We met all the farm animals and it truly was great bonding experience for our family. The RV accommodation we rented was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. Rob and Mike were very nice and made sure everything was going well. It was an easy check in process and let me check in early to get set up before some rain came in. The facilities were nice and had towels and soap in shower. They had a nice kitchen area as well. Definitely one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at!

My wife and I stayed at Honey Bee Ranch for 3 nights with our RV and really enjoyed it. We found the site through Hipcamp and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a few days.
It’s a nice, quiet spot where you can actually relax and enjoy being away from everything. We liked the laid-back atmosphere and the fact that it felt more like staying somewhere unique than just pulling into an RV park.
We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Thanks to Honey Bee Ranch for having us!

The campsite was very peaceful and relaxing. We were the only people at the campground which was lovely. I was thrilled to see a full bath house! We had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.

Hands-down, one of the best weekends we’ve ever had! From the peaceful, relaxing views to paddleboarding, spotting manatees, and ending our nights with s’mores around the fire pit, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect.
The location couldn’t have been better—private and peaceful while still being close to everything we needed. It was the perfect getaway for our whole family, but we could also see it being an incredible spot for a romantic couples’ retreat.
We’re already planning our next trip and genuinely can’t wait to come back. This place made for such a special weekend, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!
